Room was clean, staff were cordial. I was disappointed that I didn't get to get a lake view room. The pool and hot tub were enclosed but seperatwd from the rooms so you would have to walk in the exposed cold air back to your room from the pool.

Beds were not comfortable. TV’s are inexpensive and only have speakers in the back, and the back of the TV faces neighbors wall. So we heard neighbors TV loud and clear all night. Won’t stay there again

Front desk was ok not very warm just very straight to the point and hard to understand. My room was in terrible condition. The room was outdated bedding had food stains on it, wallpaper was peeling in several places, lock on door was broken, toilet paper holder came out of the wall, counter was splitting at the seams and it looked like it may fall apart, the bathroom door was broken at the bottom, there were chips in the floor, there was no fan in the bathroom and there were no cups for the coffee. One nice things was they had new flooring and it looked nice. Not worth $350 to stay at again

Room 218 needs major work. The only lock on the door was the one by handle. The upper was broken. The door jam was broken. The wall paper was coming off the wall. The bathroom curtain rod was coming off the wall

Old hotel dirty and moldy smell in room. needs

The hotel wasn't very well maintained never cleaned our room the whole 3 days we were there no breakfast just muffins and coffee when advertised they had Continental Breakfast. The hotel wasn't worth what I paid for the hotel needs total remodel. Looks half remodeled Lamps Broken and lots of wires hanging were tv was plugged into cable box. The refrigerator was sitting on the floor and not in the cabinet we're it should have been. For Wyndham Hotel and price we paid should have been better.

Avoid this hotel at all cost. It was filthy from the bedsheets (top cover and bedskirt) to the mold in the bathtub. The walls had brown and red all over them and the room hadn’t been touched or remodeled in decades. When bringing up concerns and requesting a refund, I was laughed at and only offered room service. The room was far beyond room service.not only that, Expedia was little help and recognizing how unsafe and unkept the hotel was. I will never rebook through a third party.

Many things I like. My room was very clean- staff was nice- check-in was simple. You will hear the ship horn in your room. My TV is terrible. It would go in and out. The volume also goes in and out. There is a major delay in the remote. I probably wouldn’t care but there were some big sports happening that I follow.

Our stay was good. The room was clean. The only downfall of our stay was we would rather have fitted sheets on the bed mattress versus a regular flat sheet. Every time we moved in the bed the sheet would come off exposing the mattress.

The first room we were given was not very clean and the water in the sink never drained out. They moved us to a slightly cleaner room with a bathroom door that was hard to close and would get stuck easily. The towels did not smell clean. Weird smell in the room. Just not clean. The employee at the front desk was kind. There is no breakfast. Just coffee and maybe muffins. The stairs outside need some paint and new flooring. The whole place needs renovating.

Serviceable Room, Desperately in Need of TLC

Way overpriced, but to be expected during their ‘season’. Conveniently walkable to one of the Mackinaw Island ferry stations- literally next door. 10 minute walk to downtown Mackinaw City for shopping and dining. Room had an awkward hodgepodge of furniture, but bed was firm and pillows were soft. The AC unit was able to keep up with the humidity and did a fine job cooling the room. Good water temperature and pressure. Overall serviceable room but desperately in need of some TLC. Lavern from housekeeping made a not so great room better with little touches that were appreciated, and Laura from reception was pleasant and very helpful.

I expected more. It need to be updated. We had a 💜 shaped tub that did not work. The handles were removed. It was close to 90 degrees when we got there and the room was hotter. It took almost 2 hours to cool of the room and remove the humidity. For $265 for one night I expected more

Not a Jewel, but good enough

Found a piece of excrement floating in the murky hot tub. Pool area is filthy and in need of maintenance. Staff was friendly and accommodating, but building is clearly showing age. Room was comfortable, view was pleasant, beds were clean.
