The room is beautifully appointed and the bed was so extremely comfortable! They provide amenities that include everything you may have forgotten to pack. Most hospitable hotel I have stayed in.
We arrived late, but found our entrance. We rented the cheap room #1 ground floor. The room was charming, clean, and comfortable; however, the street noise was loud, and the lady's shoes on the floor above us at 5:30am were a little loud too. Go for a second story room.
Awesome boutique hotel in the middle of everything! We were here for the Macon Film Festival and the Woodward provided a great home base and comfy room. Easy access with clear instructions on how to get into the room and parking was included! The hotels bar Quill had some of THE best and most inventive cocktails! You gotta try the Salt to the Sea!
It was odd that there was nobody on property when I got there to check in. Did they send you an email with the codes for the outside doors in the bedrooms. Parking was a little odd but head anticipated that based on other reviews. Room was OK had hoped for a little more ambience and feel based on the outlook of the hotel
Didnât know street would be so noisy!
Film crew outside our window from 6 pm until 1 am yelling. Cop cars and FBI tank outside window for hours. At first we thought there was something terrible going on in downtown.
Racing cop cars repeatedly for hours.
We should have been notified- we would have chosen a different hotel. Not much sleep!
Quick stay for a concert, first time. Not a traditional hotel, so process is different but very convenient to the Capitol Theatre. Great bar!! Heads up, parking can be tricky with large vehicle.
This hotel was meticulously clean and rooms were newly renovated. There is no front desk for check in . You receive an email with a door code. Parking is also a little quirky. You pull into an alley between the hotel and the building next door. You unload your vehicle in the alley then drive down the alley a little further to the parking garage and park on the 2-3 floor. There is a lovely little restaurant across from the parking garage ( where Greg Allman proposed to Cher) . Amazing selection of liquor and great food.
The hotel is only 2 miles from the Allman Brothers Museum. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance. The hotel also has its own bar in house.
I would definitely visit again
