The staff in general was very helpful and very nice, really appreciated that the room was ready when I arrived an hour earlier than the check-in.
I got the standard room with a view that is around 17 sqm. The room was small but incredibly clean and the view was worth it.
There are just two cons to my stay: 1) the elevator is very slow, 2) the sound insulation room/room, floor/floor. As I am very sensitive to noise and the room was located in the 8th floor just a floor under the restaurant and the reception, the noise of chairs can be heard as well as the water flushing/running from what I guess was the toilet also at the restaurant. Good news is that the noise didn't last all night nor all morning.
Roomate Macarena is a 3-star hotel but can easily compete against any 4-star.
Keep in mind rooms are small and I did a solo trip, so for that purpose it worked perfectly. May become a bit challenging if 2 people are in the same room and need to share the toilet, as the layout is an open door area with - shower with glass door - sink in open area - toilet with glass door
