The cabin was exactly as advertised! The cabin was well equipped and the master bed was extra comfy!! It was the first time we took our dog in a trip and we loved that it had a small fended yard, Be aware the drive up is tricky and you WILL NEED A 4 wheel drive NO MATTER the time of the year. We had to drop our truck into 4 wheel drive for the final push into the driveway everytime. The privacy was nice and we enjoyed walking down and exploring the little neighborhood and behind the house! Will definitely come back!!

Spacious Overlook Cabin

We had an amazing time at this cabin! Spacious 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths with big eat in kitchen, sectional sofa, picnic table on the porch. The trip up and down the mountain was an adventure in itself but we loved it! Would absolutely stay again and recommend!

Wonderful mountain getaway!

We had a wonderful time! This house was clean, cozy, had beautiful views, small hiking trails in the back and close to Cataloochie ski area and Lake Junaluska. We will definitely be back! The owner was quick with responses and gave us multiple dog friendly hikes to choose from.

Perfect cozy home

After my slight heart attack driving up to this beauty I fell in love instantly! Perfect home cozy beds and had everything we needed for our thanksgiving vacation. Just under 2 hour drive to pigeon forge and 25 minutes from town. We enjoyed our stay very much! We will be back for sure 😊

This home is beautiful. Everything is updated .Great kitchen with everything you need if you decide ti prepare your meals Location is at 4700 ft and house has great Mountain View’s . Great wrap around porch deck on front of home with part of it covered do you can sit out on deck if it’s raining . Very pet friend with fenced in back yard as well. BlueRidge parkway is just minutes away from this house . We will definitely be returning to this home Thank you for having us at your lovely home

Fabulous property with a view

We have stayed in Maggie Valley multiple times and this house was definitely one of the best! It was nicely tucked in a quiet ridge with a lovely view! It was well accomodated for my family of 4 plus a dog, as well as our friends, who had their own primary suite. It was well cleaned and maintained with great access to the Parkway, National Park and Asheville. We hope to return again!

Gorgeous View & A gorgeous Cabin

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by breathtaking views that surrounded us. The cabin itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The drive up to the cabin was definitely worth it, as it added to the sense of adventure and anticipation. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a memorable getaway. YOU DO NOT NEED a 4WD or AWD. We had 2 vehicles a Wrangler and a Ram 1500 RWD. If you know how to drive you can get up there no problems with some weight in your vehicle. If your not experienced driving in the mountains it’s advised to go with a AWD or 4WD. Thanks again PHIL we will be back in fall.

Fall Break with the best view!

The cabin was very clean, cozy and so comfortable for our family of 5. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed! The views were amazing each day - beautiful fall colors and mtn ranges, then foggy/rain, then sun rays shining down through the clouds, and the most amazing colorful sunsets each evening. The location was great and easy to get to. The owner was easy to work with as well. This is a great place to stay, and we will definitely rent again. Thank you for a wonderful family weekend of memories in Maggie Valley!

We had an awesome get away. The views were amazing! The cabin was clean, with plenty of amenities. Phil was easy to get in touch with, very helpful and friendly. Our only critique, was that we were unable to get the gas grill started. That being said there was a cast iron griddle on the stove that worked almost as well. Great place to stay with family and pets.

Refreshing Mountain Cabin

Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. This has not been the fist time we rented a cabin in the area, so we were somewhat familiar with the surroundings and the develpment where the cabin is located. It is a short drive off the main road and uphill with the final left turn up being the steepest. We do have a 4x4 SUV and had no problems getting up and down to the property daily. The cabin itself was perfect for our family of 5. It had a well appointed kitchen, spacious bedrooms, fun gaming area upstairs, fenced in backyard, and a deck with gorgeous views of the valley below. The temperature at the cabin was noticeably cooler and refreshing when compared to the lower elevations towards Cherokee. The next time we are in the area, we will surely rent this cabin again!

Wonderful place

The cabin was very clean, cozy and in a perfect spot. It’s in between Cherokee and Maggie’s Valley. A few miles either way! Everything was provided that we needed, including a little welcome basket with treats in it. I spoke with the owner by texts several times before we went and he was easy to get a hold of. He gave us some pointers on a hike and restaurant’s. We seen many Elk, turkeys and rabbits. We will stay here again for sure.

Wonderful home base to see it all.

Wonderful property with a gorgeous view and a gracious host. Close to Sylvia, Dillsboro, Cherokee, Waynesville, Asheville, waterfalls, elk. The whole shebang!. A great home base to see everything or to stay in and relax next to the fireplace and well appointed kitchen. The fenced yard made it easy for us with our dog also. FWD or AWD recommended. Highly recommend this property and would stay again! Go for it!
