The room that was allocated to me the bed is sagged in the middle. Bathroom floor tiles look like they havenât been cleaned in a long time.
Exterior paint work is peeling off especially fascia eaves. Doorways are knocked around.
Why I was allocated this particular room as it was for disabled persons when there was other rooms available.
Although the building needs some renovations the bed, bedding, towels and supplies were good. Easy self check in and friendly manager greeted us. Locality was short walk to shops and the excellent Maitland City Club.
Rooms need larger curtains to block out lights from club car park. Check in at the kiosk may be a problem for people that do not like to use technology. Pleasant stay with convenient walk to club and nearby shops.
The room was clean and a good size for 2 people. Unfortunately however there is open access from the road and personal belongings were stolen overnight. I would recommend going to another site that is secure.
I liked the provision of a microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery. HAd a nice outside balcony with a view.
Parking was at a premium and quite difficult to access. We were unable to park anywhere near our room and had to search elsewhere for a parking spot.
No one at the reception when we arrived. However. we were able to check in through a check in kiosk which is not the same as a person. There were hairs on the bathroom floor that was cleaned up after complaining to the manager when he finally arrived. One mug short and the bed light cover was off. The air conditioner when on during the night was blowing on top of the guest head making it uncomfortable
Motel was basic and clean. Area was quiet at night time. Self check in and out using kiosk machine which was perfect. Stayed over night and would recommend for short stays
