This hotel is situated at the sensational site among pine trees, looking towards the most beautiful sunset. The see is cristal clear. The rooms are rather small, but comfortable. Everything is clean. The food is local and of high quality. The best of all are people - they are very comitted, competent and nice. Many thanks to all.

Nice family friendly hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Aurora hotel. The food is amazing. Walking paths along the seashore are nice for family with strollers. They give you a map of all the hiking tracks at the reception. Biking or hiking is a must if you're there in spring or autumn.

Wir waren jetzt das zweite Mal dort. Im 2016 Mitte Juni und dorf war es toll. Aber das Person hat wohl die Nase voll von den Touristen und auch das ZMorgenbuffet lässt sehr zu wünschen ünrig. Die Lage ist toll und auch die Felsenbeach ist genial. Jedoch muss man am morgen früh nach unten und den Liegestuhl besetzten und die Sonnenschirme sind burtal mangelware.

Review

Pros: The food was awesome!
Cons: The prices should be more transparent. The price that was arranged in the begining (booking) should be the price that we have to pay in the end!
Location: There should be more parking spaces!!!
First impression: the cupboard in my room was way too small and a very unpleasant smell came from the bathroom and couldn't be fixed by the staff (as promised!!). By our arrival at the hotel we had to bring our luggage to our room by ourselfs and not by the portier (which is his job). Then there was a very small amount of sun-umbrellas, which were provided by the hotel and because of that we often got into arguments with other guests at the beach. Also the opportunity to buy some water was limited due to the working time of the kiosk (tabacco shop), only from 13:00 pm to 16:00 pm. Last but not least: the price, which we have arranged to pay during our booking over the internet, was not the same as when we checked out on our last day in the hotel. Booking price was 2860.- CHF and the final price was 3500.- CHF!!!!!!!!! WOW!
