We had a nice time..enjoyed the view from our balcony & loved Marchiquita beach next door. We had an issue w/ the airconditioner & host responded quickly & rectified the problem.
This is the path to the beach from condo.. but it's not safe to swim here. You have to go to the adjacent beach Marchiquita beach to swim. Grocery store & walmart close. Couple little restaurants/bars within a few minutes.

Kitchen was well stocked, loved that they had some spices - we cooked breakfast and ate out dinners. Beaches are beautiful in this area! Bed was firm and comfortable. Loved the view of the ocean from the balcony!

Mar Chiquita apartment

The apartment was very nice and well organized.The view is beautiful and you can feel very relaxed listening at the ocean. There is a washer and dryer in the garage. We went to the beach and had fun with the family. The air conditioning was fantastic. We really enjoyed the pool. The apartment is very quiet and amazing.

This condo is DISGUSTING

DONT RENT THIS PROPERTY. For check in the host was super unresponsive & the process was not smooth. We opened the door to the apartment & were instantly hit with pungent moldy stale smell. The next thing is I noticed was a 2 inch long cockroach.The counter tops were sticky & full of crumbs, the sink had black mold & old food in the drains, the table was set with dusty dishes that had crusty food on them. The floors were not swept or cleaned. As I moved towards the bedroom the smell worsened. In the bathroom I found towels with black mold & bugs/hair on them. The toilet had crusted urine, dirt, & pubic hair on it. I contacted the host & was IMMEDIATELY met with hostility. Milady responded with “I was just there & the property is VERY clean.” She asked me to send photos & when I sent her the cockroach she replied “that’s outside.” when I replied “if you were just here & saw it, why did you leave it? There was no answer. Just for your knowledge, VRBO CONSIDERS THIS A MINOR PROBLEM & WILL NOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP OR PROTECT THIER USERS. The host Milady proceeded to send messages like “I save photos of my property for people like you.” & “if you are looking for a free night this isn’t the property.” (I NEVER asked for anything free.) In response to the dirty plateware she said “if you do not like it don’t use” I paid for 2 nights here & we were only at this property for 2 hours. Verbo would not do anything to help us. Happy to share proof/screenshots of this to anyone.

We had a fantastic time in Puerto Rico. The place was perfect for us. Loved the view and how close we were to the beach. The garden patio was a perfect place to sit in the evenings. They had most of the things we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

This place is an absolute gem. Cozy, fresh, amazingly clean, spotless to be honest. Master bed was SO COMFORTABLE. Had the best two nights sleep in a long time. Will definitely be back!

Check-in purpose in like a scavenger hunt. Property owner asks that you not flush your toilet paper. Which means that you're using an indoor outhouse,,,,with the world's smallest toilet seats. The beds were cofy, although more pillows are needed. The television were great, with Hulu, Netflix, and Apple TV, etc. Kitchen has all of the basics. The view from the balcony is awesome. The beach is pretty to look at, but the rocks and wave action make swimming dangerous at best. Mar Chiquita 300 yards away was fun, but swimming was challenging and entering and exiting the water was dangerous. There is a food truck court nearby, and a grocery store and bakery even closer. We ate at Costa Azul. Great food. Overall, we had a good stay. We recommend looking closely at your options.

Weekend beach getaway

Beachfront apartment next to Mar Chiquita. Comfortable, clean, cozy! Perfect for a weekend getaway! The balcony overlooking the beach is spectacular and The private patio in front of the beach is priceless, especially at night to sit in the sand and watch the stars! Totally recommend and willmost limely visit again!

A beautiful property on the Isle of Enchantment!

It is such a beautiful property! The views are breath taking. Anyone would fall in love with it and not want to leave! The rooms are well furnished with beautiful furniture and well coordinated. The bathrooms are nicely updated. It is a unique opportunity to stay right on the coast... literally feet from the ocean... and enjoy Puerto Rico from the comfort and safety of a delightful property. The snorkeling is amazing too over the coral. Not to mention your views are second to none... a photographers dream scape. We will be back...

Cute place/secret gem

The place is better then the pictures. Very clean and nicely decorated. Gated property so you feel safe. A cute private patio area for this unit. great lighting for a romantic/chill ambiance. You are steps for the beach to tan and walk on ( not bathing) but a 5 minute walk to Mar Chiquita beach. Precisely why I rented this place. The water is soooo clear and beautiful. the provide beach chairs and a cooler is is great when traveling from Connecticut. Currently you are time restricted because you have to meet with a person to get into the property and provide you with keys and a gate opener. Same process for leaving. So you can't freely change your mind on the time you want to check in or out. Again it's not bad just inconvenient . Check in/ Check out is a bit frustrating not bad just inconvenient. I have spoken to the owner who will be working on the process to make it easier for the renter. The owner is great to communicate with and answers all questions prior, during and after your stay. The cleaners/ apartment keepers are nice a husband and wife team they are the ones who provide access to the apartment. I would definitely rent again if ever in the area and would recommend to friends, family and anybody reading this reaview
