The location was great. The person on the desk was very helpful. The room was nice and clean but street facing so noisy. The lift was out of service when we left so we were glad we were on the first floor to walk down with the luggage.

Very nice hotel. The room was so spacious and the bed was the biggest I’ve ever seen! Could have probably got 3-4 adults on it. The room had a speaker which you could connect to via Bluetooth which was a nice touch. Bathroom was also big and spacious. The location is perfect. It’s within walking distance to the high street, picadilly gardens (which is a lot smaller than I expected it to be), Arndale and Afflecks. Great for shopping and very good for food options too. There are so many shops and restaurants nearby. CitiPark was good for parking. Only a 2 min walk from the hotel and you get a discounted rate of £13 per 24 hours (remember to validate your car reg when you check in to the hotel). Breakfast was lovely (included in the price). I would stay here again.

Great Stay

We were only there for one night (on a Sunday). The young man on reception was really lovely and he upgraded our room! We had a great stay, the room had lots of space and the bed was massive as well as being super comfy. Everything was really nice and very clean. We'd stay again.

Lovely overnight stay

Wonderful overnight stay in Abode. Our room wasn't ready, so we were offered a slight upgrade. The bed was HUGE! Everything was very clean and I thought the room was lovely, with such high ceilings. I will be staying again! Great to get a discount at the 24hr car park too, which was very close by.

The website for the hotel describes it as 'luxury' but we found it to be basic; we've stayed in premier inns and travelodges with better quality rooms. It was very hot in the room. The air conditioning wasn't working and a plug in unit gave no relief to the heat whatsoever. The windows didnt open either so it was an uncomfortable night. The only good thing was the location and having parking nearby (chargeable).

Room was ok would have been better it ar conditioning working only had fan in room which circulated hot air Safe did not work And lift stoped working on night of our stay and still not working in the morning

From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room was massive and we loved that the old tiles had been kept and blended in with new tiles. Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant staff were very attentive. Some of the chairs and furniture in the restaurant could do with replacing as tired and one broke on another customer when we were there. Would definitely stay again.

We loved the convenience for access to the Picadilly area, parking very nearby (Picadilly Basin) and the station for trams to venue for a concert at Co-op Live Special mention to Omar on the front desk for his local knowledge and tips. We will be back, thank you for a lovely stay

Room was nicely decorated (despite some peeling wallpaper) and the building is nice but bed and pillows uncomfortable (quilt was wafer thin as well) and I saw two receptionists both were completely uninterested. Also my key card didn’t work and they said they’d call maintenance, I asked for a different card and was told quite firmly NO 😂

Room air conditioning was broken in middle of June when needed, was given a replacement fan. Lift was also broken, not an issue for me as on first floor. Only stayed for the location as within walking distance of transport.
