Arrived before the 3 oclock check in time but as our room was ready they very kindly let us check in. All areas of hotel were very clean and tidy. Breakfast had a good selection of food and drink. The only negative about the room was the coldness coming off the window. This made the room feel cold but was helped by thick curtains and temperature contolled heating. Would use this hotel again as it was centrally located with tram and bus stops outside the hotel.

Very good in the end

When we arrived our room was freezing cold, the aircon and bathroom radiator didn't work. We were given a portable radiator (with a broken wheel) but it didn't help. We asked to be moved to a different room which was done immediately, no problem. Second room was excellent, warm, clean and very comfortable.

Wifi was very poor or non existent Breakfast was good but the system said we were not eligible even though we had paid for it the previous afternoon as it said we had had it the day before. Hotel is tired and could do with upgrading rooms shower leaked through screen Staff on the whole were very helpful

The hotel is in a good location but the general maintenance is very poor, bathroom fittings half hanging off not functioning properly... If I hadn't been in a rush I would have asked to change rooms, one of the rooms I book had already been changed as maintenance had not replaced the battery in the door so it was unable to be opened

We booked the venue for our wedding anniversary for the convenient location. Having a 3 year old it is perfect for the Christmas markets and the shops. We requested a quiet room upon checking in i asked the reception to check and she did confirm that it was a quiet room. Entering the room, they had decorated the beds with swan towels, chocolate and balloons. Perfect! The stay then went downhill from there. The heating didnt work. Was brought up two oil heaters. They noted that we had a toddler and will send someone to fix the heating and failing that will get us moved to another room the following day if they couldnt. The noise was ridiculously loud from our room. Im aware that there will be Christmas parties in the hotel but we could have been placed on a higher floor. The parties took place on the 3rd floor and we were on the 5th!! Come on! 2nd night was a repeat of the first! The music was the same! The heating was the same! Other staff that came in to help did not know that the heating was not working and then said it probably wouldnt be fixed and to make do with the heaters. We were then woken up the morning to someone doing DIY around 8am!! What is that about?? On a sunday morning!! Was going on for approximately an hour before we went for breakfast! Breakfast was good and you can order directly with some of the staff and the kitchen will prepare omelettes! Good variety! Zoe in the restaurant was lovely. Looked after us for the 2 mornings! Great staff member!
