Visiting Manchester at short notice and the Old Traffod Guest House was a great spot for our visit.
Instructions for check-in were clear, and the house was in a handy location to access Manchester for our visit.
Comfortable and quiet rooms in a nice area, safety and security felt great and kitchen facilities were a nice touch.
Bathroom felt a little dated and could do with some TLC, but otherwise lovely place with contemporary decor and comfy beds.
It is a house where individual rooms are rented out. Itâs good if anyone is coming for work, if you want to enjoy with friends this is not suitable. Communal areas were neat.
I actually enjoyed my stay it was nice nd clean and comfortable, defo stay their again. But the only issue was parking not enough parking spaces other than that everything was perfect
Spacious room, suitable for us as a family with kids. It's just the bathroom is shared with other rooms, so we need to take turn to use it. Overall is good.
The room was spacious and reasonably clean. Quite basic but serviceable. What was not good was the bathroom: we understand that a shared bathroom depends a lot on the other guests, but the grime on the toilet and in the bath tub was days old. We chose not to shower here this morning because we didnât feel at ease.
Great location and great price but bathroom and kitchen area are tired looking and outdated.
Bedroom smelt but was only there to sleep.
Traffic noise from 6am felt constant for about 2 hours.
Checking in and the codes were simple to use.
Tv broke
Bedding all bobbled and mattress too
Dirty mouldy bathroom and toilets
Rubbish left by previous guests
Loud banging by the door
Near the busy road lots of road noise
I wouldnât go again
Cheap accommodation but you really have to consider if this is the right place for you. The pictures look reasonable but Iâm reality it isnât nice. The bedrooms stinks of cigarettes and the bed linen is so cheap and thin that it doesnât give you confidence. Location spot on. Easy to access and plenty of parking on a game day
