Room is abit rundown but comfy still. There is no lift so carrying big luggage can be a hassle and when you have elderly member.
Staff service was amazing.
Our late checkout was not properly added to the system, we had people trying to get int the room in the morning. Even had reception call us wondering why we had not checked out.
Our room felt like it was in the basement. Had to carry case up several flights of stairs just to carry down again to our room.
Reception Staff did not ask am i okay to climb steep stairs & no lift so had to ask to swap alocated room. Bed was smaller than average double Size. Toilet like a Carovan style design & in tiny space & noisy , not like photo's online of Other hotel rooms . Windows were screwed & bolted closed, did not feel Safe due to 'No fast exit in emergency like a Fire' Do not think would stay here again due to lack of space & lack of Oxygen or fresh air inside of hotel.
Very basic and not worth the price. All the juice glasses at breakfast were disgusting and wouldnât even touchâŠ. Its a bed only, consider a youth hostel!
The room looks spacious in the picture but very small and tight in person. The shower is a bit of inconvenience as the water gets too cold and too hot abruptly.
Love the location as its just a steps away from Christmas Markets and so close to the train station.
The staffs are very friendly and courteous. And our room's view is the majestic Manchester Cathedral. Overall i would love to come back.
Have stayed at the Mitre on quite a few occasions, mostly for football matches. I love the fact that it is great value for money, so central and that the bar and restaurant are so vibrant.
