A regular visitor

Often use this hotel on arrival to or departing from Manila. Clean, friendly and value for money. Nice pool and rooftop bar with good food. Good breakfast buffet.

This is a good hotel if you want to be close to the airport for travel. The area around this hotel is very ‘high-end’ for Manila and you feel safe. A lovely mall nearby with some dining options. Food better there than what we ordered at the rooftop bar. Bar good for drinks - service a bit slow but nothing different to the rest of the Philippines really. I’d still give this 5 stars since it fit with what we needed. Stayed 2 nights. If you land at a terminal other than T3 just take the free airport shuttle to T3 then walk across the Manila Runway bridge and it is right there. You do not need to pay the 1200 pesos the hotel was going to charge to arrange a car service (since no hotel shuttle).

What we like best about the Belmont Hotel is that it’s a 10-minute walk across the Runway Manila Bridge (elevated walkway) from NAIA Terminal 3 to hotel lobby. For a fee, helpful staff found an available room, where I was able to check in early after a morning arrival from San Francisco. Older building, but very convenient to venues at Resorts World mall for meals and shopping. Any airport hotel is a bit noisy, but I had no issue sleeping once the curtains were pulled. Took a Grab taxi to Terminal 2 next morning with no issue, about a 20-minute ride.

Poor experience

This hotel has deteriorated. It needs renovation and refurbishing. Rooms are small, breakfast understandably is geared to Asians but a lot of westerners. Simple things like the juice selection it is just flavoured water.

Very handy for the airport (a short walk out of T3) the rooms are past their prime but serviceable and what you might expect from a dated city hotel. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Rooftop pool is nice but the food very average.
