Beautiful location and unit

The property was beautiful and location was neat, Harbor Village is really a perfect family spot. We'd visit again, just need some fixes. While our issues were rectified swiftly day 2, had significant headaches our first night. The unit advertised having a pull out couch bed, ottoman single sleeper, then bedroom upstairs and extra blow up mattress. Well, the sofa was a blow up mattress that wouldn't stay inflated, and also no use at the same time as single sleeper (ottoman was too heavy to move) and there was no other inflatable mattress to make up for that unexpected sofa sleeper loss. So, 5 of us were way short on sleep space, not to mention no sheets or pillows were provided outside of bed. We only had 3 towels for 5 of us despite notes indicating towels provided for all registered guests (5). That was tough to share after day 1 at the beach. The soap (and soap back up) in upstairs bathroom (main bath of unit) were clearly refilled with water. Even my kids noticed commented, so we bought some ourselves, again despite the ad saying hand soap provided. Little things go a long way and we were just surprised - no kleenex boxes anywhere, no broom to clean up after ourselves (it's by the beach, sand happens!) so we just felt there were some basics missing and we didn't get what was advertised until we reached out on day 2. Super kind, responsive and easy but wasn't the best situation from start

Great getaway

Really enjoyed our stay. Definitely will be coming back again. The only thing I would like to suggest the the Washer/dryer should not be in the kitchen. It should be in a different location. I missed having the dishwasher since I do not like to wash dishes by hand. Also, the amenities need to be updated.

Ladies trip

The place is exactly like the pictures and couldn't be in a better location. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. The bathroom could have had a few extra towels but we had enough. I cannot believe how quickly they responded to my one need. I gave 4 stars on cleaning because there were a lot of cobwebs on patio and in corners but thats just my ocd... I plan to rent again.

Incredible View

This was a fantastic property
.the views were very relaxing to say the least. Were able to visit the beach only 5 minute walk for the gorgeous sunset or from the top floor of the condo. Although the outdoor pool had to be closed, the indoor pool was very large and refreshing.

Clean, nice location

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and in a convenient location for walking or driving to areas of Manistee. Walking the marina was especially nice. The beaches were beautiful. With the windows open, we could hear voices at the pool, but that did not bother us at all. The only negatives about the property were a clogged master bath sink drain, and a steady drip of water from the master bath tub. Neither were major issues and we brought them to the attention of the property manager. The steadfastness of the 4 PM check-in time was a bit annoying. The listing makes it clear that there is no ability to get in earlier except for paying a fee. Even major hotel chains usually let guests check in early if the room is ready. Would’ve been nice to have that option.

Very nice place, exactly as advertised

We stayed 5 nights, there were 3 of us. My partner and I were very comfortable in the upstairs bedroom. My adult son slept on the fold-out sofa bed (twin size), it was not super comfortable but the foam mattress we found in the upstairs closet helped make it more comfy. The pull-out full-size sofa bed was even more uncomfortable so he used the twin bed. We had to search a bit to find the bedding for the pull-out beds, but it was in one of the closets. The kitchen was all operational and good. The washer-dryer is a single combo machine and you can't just use the dryer, but that's a pretty minor complaint!

Perfect for a Getaway!

My husband and I stayed here for a five-day stretch to celebrate our anniversary. It was the perfect set-up for us! The kitchen is very small, so cooking and baking is slightly limited, but the owners have done a good job of making sure all the necessities are there. Other than that, we had a fabulous time. We loved all the big blankets around as it was cooler the days/nights we were there. Thank you for your hospitality. We love Harbor Village and will definitely return!

We were looking forward to using the outdoor and indoor pool. The smell of chemicals in the indoor pool made it impossible to use. The outdoor pool was closed the entire 3 days.

Nice location and amenities

We found this condo to be in a good location with good amenities. The development is an easy walk to downtown Manistee through a residential district, and is right alongside the beach. It was easy enough to drive in and out when we had a day trip. The condo is up a flight of stairs, very sunny, facing west, right over the outdoor pool, so it has a pretty view of the harbor. By having the bedroom on the second floor, it was easy to allow a sleepy spouse to nap, while the other is cooking or watching TV. The kitchen has everything you need. There were only two of us so we can’t comment on the pullout beds, but with the half bath on the 1st floor, it would be convenient for a small family, or a second couple. There is a single unit washer and dryer which works fine, but takes a bit longer to process. We used the indoor pool which is large and the fitness center. We got there off season and it was quiet, things definitely liven up around Memorial Day especially at the outdoor pool.

It was a fantastic place to stay, great location, gorgeous view with phenomenal sunsets!! (We’ve stayed in quite a few places) Just a few suggestions for the owners: * there should at least be a dish cloth or 2 for the kitchen, for cleaning/wiping the counters etc. * the ceiling fan (especially in warmer months) should be checked to make certain things are in working order so you don’t have to call maintenance after hours. * most frustrating was the fact that we were not made aware that the address was indeed our unit number. (Again a call made after working hours) We scrambled & drove around trying to figure out where we were supposed to be. All-in-all, we would come back again easily

Nice little condo

Perfect place to stay for a weekend away from the kids before school started. Short walk to the beach, and the indoor and outdoor pools are close by. Downtown Manistee is nice as well to walk and have a meal.

Family trip- enjoyed stay

This was a lovely condo, right next to both indoor and outdoor pools- both great amenities. Short walk to the beach. Downtown was cute with good restaurants and little river walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
