We loved our stay at this location. We were there in the winter, and the home was cozy and comfortable, and perfect for gathering family. The kitchen was well equipped, which was perfect as we cooked all our meals there. We brought in all our groceries and never left the home during our two-day stay. It was perfect.

Perfect Location

This house was absolutely perfect for our family. We had two toddlers who loved the bunk beds, a dog who was very content in the femced in yard, and my parents who loved a first floor bedroom. My husband and I had plently of space upstairs and were thankful for the air conditioning fan we could control. The house is a 3 min drive to 5th Ave beach or north beach for a dog day. We even walked downtown for ice cream. The yard was the perfect size to play catch, grill out, and have a fire. Next time we will bring our marshmallow roasting sticks. The riverwalk was fun with great shops & restaurants. We even visited the local bowling alley and toured the USS Milwaukee. I would say the outdoor showers were our favorite part and we used them every day after the beach. Highly recommend!!

Beautifully renovated home with an exquisite spa bathroom. The home was in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood - nice to not hear any traffic! Home was near everything - beach, town, grocery stores. The beaches here are beautiful and the town is so friendly. Be sure to check out the bakery! Nice fenced in backyard for your dog and a neighborhood to walk them! Ample size living room with large couch and tv We sat on back porch and had coffee every morning. Be sure to try the outdoor spa showers!

Great experience

We had a great experience! Manistee is so charming. The house was perfect. Great location, room for all 5 of us. We had everything we needed and enjoyed daily walks to the beach. We were close to downtown shopping and the beach and it was easy to visit surrounding areas and towns. We will definitely be back!

Quiet get away

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and hometown feel. The location was close to restaurants, Lake Michigan, shopping and other towns to explore. The home was comfortable, clean and filled with everything we needed for our stay. Fun few days!

Beautiful Michigan

Our stay in Manistee in this VRBO was easy and convenient. Washer/dryer was welcome, fenced -in back yard for the dog was helpful, the house was located very near to beaches and downtown.

Great place to stay!

Clean, comfortable great location. We stayed at this property for our fall "boys" weekend of golf. The weather didn't cooperate but we had fun just hanging out at the house watching college football. Great outdoor space as well!

Happy with my stay

Overall I was pleased with the home and visit. Though a heads up that the house was in a more reserved neighborhood would’ve been a nice piece of advice. However, the home was lovely, very clean and the tub was fantastic! It was nice to swim (so to speak) and relax at the same time. Would definitely book again.

Perfect Getaway!

We had a fantastic stay here! It was really clean and remodeled beautifully! The outdoor showers were perfect after a day at the beach and the tub was so nice and relaxing! The beach was a 5 minute drive/20 minute walk and downtown was walkable too! Being able to bring our dog was the icing on the cake!

Super easy process from beginning to end. House was lovely, just the right size for seven adults. The only draw back was the one bathroom. Yard and patio a wonderful place to hang out. Amenities where very nice. I like the replace what you use so everything you need is there upon arrival. I would rent this house again.

Great location

This place is nicely decorated and comfortable. It is at a great location, easy to walk to the beach and Main Street. The yard is perfect for our dogs and also a nice setup to sit outside. We had a heat wave and so it was tough without AC. Fans did a good job downstairs but no fan in the upstairs rooms though. Hopefully AC will get installed soon.

Manistee Downtown Near River Walk and Lake Michigan

The home and location was very nice and as advertised. The owners have done a lot of work to update things inside and outside the home. Our favorite portion of the trip was walking downtown to shop or eat, or just walking along the waterfront or down to Lake Michigan.

Convenient and clean house in the heart of Manistee

The house was very clean, in a central location convenient to walking to town and the 5th Avenue beach and lighthouse. The enclosed garden is priceless if you, like us, bring a dog along. We did not use the upstairs bedrooms as it was just the two of us and chose to use the downstairs bedroom. The stairs to 2nd floor might feel steep for some people, but the ground floor had all the amenities we needed so we had a great time. Ceiling fans in the ground floor rooms, washer and drier and the small dishwasher were all great modern conveniences (other properties we rented in the past in the Manistee area did not have these type of comforts). Overall a very convenient, clean and comfortable place for us two and our dog.

Really cute

Great choice if you want a well-appointed place close to downtown and the beach. Downtown is within walking distance and 5th ave. beach is only a mile away. Sleeping bear dunes is only an hour away (although it takes longer when you stop at the cute towns on the way along M-22 like we did). The fenced in yard was great for our dog, and there is a dog park a short drive away.

Perfect for Dog Owners

It's hard if not impossible to find clean, stylish properties when traveling with dogs. This property worked great for us it was clean, stylish and renovated, had all the essentials, and the fenced-in yard was a huge bonus. It's close and walkable to both Lake Michigan and downtown Manistee. You can tell the owners have pride in ownership and take good care of the property as well as provide all the extra touches so visitors feel at home as well.

Clean, cute property a short distance to the beach in Manistee

My family and friends had a really nice, relaxing stay. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated house and the fenced in yard. Our kids enjoyed running around and our puppy was safe in the fenced in yard. We were close to downtown Manistee and the beach!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. I'm glad we were able to make the booking work with short notice. The communication was clear, and the house was well decorated. It seems like there could be a few improvements overall, but you could tell the homeowners took pride in their place. I would assume that they would get better towards perfection in time. Everything was how it was stated, and we really enjoyed the bathroom, living room, and kitchen amenities. It was within a mile of the river walk, so that was awesome. Thanks again.
