This was the prefect spot! It really felt like home and couldn't ask for more, except more time. The property itself was spotless and thoughtfully designed, featuring comfortable furnishings and plenty of small touches that made our stay feel extra special for the extended weekend. We left feeling completely refreshed and are already planning our next visit. Highly recommended, see you again soon.

The condo was not maintained well, all windows/glass doors either no screens or broken screens, flies/mosquitos easily got inside. The dryer vent was dirty. The ceiling fan in a bedroom is missing the pull string and was running when we checked in, no switch on the wall to stop it either. Had to call the property manager to get someone to fix it as it was cold in the night, the PM was not very helpful by just saying the service ticket was created with no expectation time for the repair, the handyman came the next day and he was nice and was able to stop the fan.

We love pirates cove. This place was clean, had a great view of the lagoon and sound. Lots of walking trails and downtown Manteo is super close. Would highly recommend this place

Overall the stay and accommodations were great. Had a little hiccup on arrival with Master bedroom not made. However, we contacted Village Rental and we had sheets within an hour and they were willing to make the bed. Great family friendly community and close to attractions.

Weekend at OBX

Five out of five stars. It was clean, comfortable, and offered everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely stay here again. It had no elevator, but it was only one story up and that’s no different than my own two-story home. Before my arrival, I contacted customer service twice, and they promptly answered all my questions.

The condo was lovely and clean. We had a nice view of the canal and sound. The restaurant and amenities were within walking distance. The location was convenient. The pool and the gym were very nice. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Second time staying!

This was our second time staying in this condo. Last spring we stayed and the lighting in the bathrooms was so bad that we had to use flashights if showering at night. We told ourselves we wouldn’t come back again because of that, but otherwise we liked the condo. We decided we’d give it another try this year, and we were happy to find that additional lights have been installed in both bathrooms! Great improvement. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Last time we stayed, my husband and I had the master bedroom and it was great! This time our friends had the master and we had the smaller bedroom. My only suggestion would be a new mattress - it wasn’t very comfortable. Overall a great place to stay and we will likely be back again next spring!

This was a lovely place to stay with a great location. The place was well decorated and comfy. Couple of things... the code didn't work when we got there so had to call the office to reset it, no pillow cases on a couple of pillows and a man from the staff entered the place at about 8:00am on check out day using the code without knocking. I was still in bed when he walked in.

Great location with relaxing views. Seems recently acquired and updated quickly. Needs a light over the shower areas-don’t shower after dark. Washer needs maintenance -loud cycles. Sliding door does not lock. Could be a great little get-away.

Great place - terrible lighting

Perfect place for 4 to stay for a short trip. Very clean! A huge negative was the lighting after dark. Lighting in bedrooms and bathrooms is VERY dim. We take showers at night and the lighting from the master bath that is above the sink did not provide ANY light for the shower. All 3 nights I had to use my phone as a flashlight in the shower because it was so dark in the shower. Even with the lamps in the master bedroom, with all of them on, it was still very dim in the bedroom. The front bedroom only had one small dim lamp, that did not provide light in there either. There is no overhead lighting in either bedroom and if there is no overhead lighting, there needs to be sufficient lighting with lamps which there was not. Would love to stay here again as everything else was perfect except for the lighting, but will not stay again if I have to use my flashlight as a light to take a shower at night.

2 Tews... Loved it!!!

We were very pleased with our Accommodations, it was just as posted. The boat slip was a big bonus! We loved being out of the water around the area. Beach is a short Drive away, lots to do and see in the area. Food at the Marina grill was Very good, highly recommended it. Our favorite was the endless boardwalks around the properties and marshes that we walked every evening to see the sunsets, They were absolutely beautiful!
