I booked this particular property because I wanted to bring my boat in and have a place to dock and have easy access to the ocean, which we didThe house on the other hand is another story. The house is very dirty in the front and the back with what looks like mold on the stucco, the Jacuzzi would not heat, the top rack of the dishwasher would not pull out and is being held on by zip ties. Many of the cabinet doors are loose in the kitchen. Upon arrival, I discovered that all of the handles on the refrigerator were very very loose and had to call Maintenance for that. The 1st floor bathroom window has a crack in it from top to bottom, the paint is peeling off the walls in the master shower upstairs, which is a step over tub with no grab bars for safety and security. The house has a lot of clutter and itâs dusty in many areas. Thereâs an air-conditioning vent in the ceiling in the upstairs closet that is hanging on by a thread because the ceiling is falling apart.This house has a lot of potential but I do not believe that it has been kept up and Iâm sure thatâs difficult to do with people in and out all of the time. All in all, I was rather disappointed. VRBO charges a lot with fees and I would think that they would stay on top of this. I believe I could have rented directly from a realtor and probably save 1000.
