"Arriving in Perth we chose Freo for accommodation because we planned to get to Wadjemup the next day. On our preferred booking platform I found the Warders Hotel, which I immediately liked. The rooms looked stylish, not overloaded and combined modern elements with the historic building. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. Even a complimentary minibar was included. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For breakfast you get vouchers for a coffee and pastry at the bar, which works very well. We also had dinner at the Emily Taylor restaurant (the roasted half duck Peking style) which was very good. For Travellers who want to visit Rottnest Island: The ferry terminal is just a15 minute walk, easy. The only thing I would criticize is the fan in the bathroom, it could have more power to get the wet air after a shower out quicker. We had two very pleasant nights at the Warders and would definitely come back. Thanks guys"

Älteres, überteuertes Hotel!

"Das abgebildete Foto ist trügerisch! Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und bedarf dringender Reparaturen, die eine Malerkolonne nicht übertünchen kann. Wir hatten eine Executive Suite gebucht, die sehr spärlich eingerichtet war. Im Bad fehlten ein Abfallbehälter, kleinere Annehmlichkeiten wie Lotion, Seifenbehälter etc. Auch das Frühstück ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Es gab nur eine Sorte Käse, Gouda und Toastbrot. Von Aufschnitt konnte man nur träumen, mit etwas Glück wurde entweder Schinken oder Salami angeboten. Die Auswahl an heißen Speisen bestand aus "bacon, hash browns, hot tomatoes, baked beans, scrambled eggs" war täglich vorhanden. Kaffeespezialitäten waren kostenpflichtig. Das Personal an der Rezeption war schlecht unterrichtet, daher wurden wir mehrmals fehlinformiert. Alles in allem zu wenig Leistung für zu viel Geld. Nicht zu empfehlen! "
