Convenient location and the building is well decorated and interesting. Bedroom itself is very snug. Room struggled to stay cool in the daytime, but it cooled off at night so sleeping was comfortable.
The Marfa House is an excellent place to stay. It was cute, quiet and clean along with a great location. The communication from the host was timely and precise. If we travel to Marfa again we would definitely stay there.
Marfa House was perfect for our needs. We walked to all of the downtown Marfa spots. We enjoyed the balcony, and the security of our access to the property. Clean and well appointed! Would recommend to anyone.
Great location for walkability. Clean, comfortable, nice balcony, clear instructions. Only drawback might be the sound of the nearby train (but true of anywhere in the vicinity as the train runs through the town). I would recommend!
Easy check in and out with the multiple (good security) door codes. The room is bright, with a bit of light at night (didnât bother me) and a train now and then going by⊠but all the town center hotels would have that⊠those are the only two things that I want to mention that might be a problem for some folks. Otherwise, wow!, incredible location, really lovely place with a balcony & blankets to sit outside and soak in the Marfa evening light. A small gallery downstairs with a reading area and the room itself was bright and comfortable with coffee at the ready. Bathroom was clean and the soap/shampoo/etc⊠was really nice! I would book again next time Iâm visiting.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Property managers are not present. We were the only people in the building.
A few squawks be nice to have sugar, sweetener and creamer for coffee, a box of facial tissues. TV was useless for live or local TV.
Otherwise had a nice stay was quiet and relaxing to sit on the balcony.
We had a very nice stay here. Our concern regarding cleaning was immediately forgotten when we walked in. You could tell it everything had been cleaned very well.
The room is small if you are 6'4 like my husband but we didn't spend much time in the room since there was a very nice balcony to sit on when not sleeping. There is a train that could go past the Marfa House in the middle of the night but it didn't bother us. The bed is comfortable and there is a wide selection of pillows. Nice towels, hair dryer, coffee supplies and shampoo. The only thing missing is a small fridge since it is hot there in the summer. We had a cooler so we could have hauled it up the stairs and left it on the balcony but chose to leave it in the car.
Overall, a nice place.
Right in the middle of everything, clean, quiet, comfortable, and easy. Coffee maker and fridge made it easy to do breakfast myself. (Bring your own coffee, the provided coffee was oxidized and didn't taste great.) Punch-code locks mean no key to keep track of. Linens, hair dryer, and soap are provided and good. USB charger on bedside table is a great touch.
Perfect room to just catch some sleep. Bed was comfortable and the room was nice and cold. Only 2 small issues, the shower felt small to me and the building is close to train tracks. I would stay again
First time traveling to West Texas, and what an amazing experience it was! Marfa House was hands down the best experience weâve ever had when traveling. The location was cozy and central to everything in Marfa! What an awesome room filled with art and history, and walk-in distance to lots of food places/stores! Thank you so much for the lasting impression as an amazing host!
Property was super clean. The ceiling fan and vents were dusty and bathroom door dirty on the inside.
My biggest drawdown was the train hat runs several times during day and night.
