We had such a great time at this quiet home in the beautiful Margaret River. It is set on a huge block with kangaroos everywhere which our girls loved. I loved the open fire, and the lovely bottle red left by the hosts. Thankyou so much Emily! If we find ourselves back in the Margaret we would love to stay at your place again!
We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Margaret River. Tucked away yet so close to the town centre, it was the perfect mix of convenience and retreat. The fireplace gave the home a cosy, welcoming feel, and we were blown away by the incredible library of books and a DVD collection that rivalled a video store â such a unique and nostalgic touch. One of our favourite features was the outdoor shower and bath area. Sheltered from the wind and with plenty of hot water, it was a relaxing and fun experience that the whole family enjoyed. The cottage itself was spotless, and the beds were super comfortable â we all slept so well. Itâs clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining this lovely space. Weâd happily stay again.
Loved it stayed with hubby and 2 dogs lots of kangaroos so have to keep them on lead very eclectic cottage and authentic 3 mins from town but like your in middle of knowhere bathroom could be dodgy if disabled or just bit old like me
This beautiful little hideaway is everything I wanted and more, more spacious than in the photos, and so well equipped, there is a TV and DVD player (love it that my teenagers rummaged through the DVDs to find a film to watch, they thought it was half the fun! The fire was packed and ready to go when we got there, and the beds were so comfy. The bathroom was awesome! A hideaway and semi-outdoors. All facilities were available, a cooker, washing machine and dryer, all came with supplies, cooking was a breeze, and many essentials were already in the kitchen. My favourite was the main outside decking, two rocking chairs....very comfy!... with a coffee table, overlooking the nature-filled garden. This was such a lovely and well-needed break, thank you.
We stayed at a lovely cottage for two days with our family. The location only 4 min drive to shops and restaurants. The house was very clean when we arrived and Wi-Fi worked well. The bedrooms were comfortable and had enough space for us.And Emily is so quick at responding my messages. We had a great time!
We really enjoyed our stay in this peaceful but very convenient cottage. Emily was very helpful and welcoming. The main bed is very comfortable, and cotton sheets a real bonus! It is fixed to the wall, which is slightly less convenient. We were unsure about the open bathroom, but actually enjoyed using it. Winter might be a bit different.
A short drove from town but feels totally rural and close to nature. Kangaroos, birds and close to forest trails. Loved the outdoor shower and shelves of books, great coffee and plenty of staples. My son loved hanging out in the trees and exploring with the hosts young daughter - and loved the free dogs and apples we were kindly gifted. Comfy beds and plenty of space. We will be back!
Was a lovely stay, pleanty big enough even for five people. The location was perfect, being so close to town but feeling so rural at the same time. Was a lovely stay would highly recommend.
Stayed for four days and loved it. The place is rustic (outdoor toilet/shower) and my wife/daughters enjoyed it....Will most definitely be staying again.
Close to town centre, felt like home-sitting with stocked pantries and all cooking utensils and facilities, couldn't be more satisfied, great hosts, we'll be back!
A haven from the rain - and there was plenty of that. I hadn't read about the outdoor bathroom and that was a surprise .... but enjoyed the Bali feeling and the little bird on the nest.
No WiFi was a bit of anuisance
Emily is a fantastic host, she made sure everything went smoothly and always responded quickly to my messages. I would highly recommend this lovely home in Margaret River. Me and my mates had a great time here.
