Rural, secluded and peaceful

Imagine yourself on a secluded ranch, where the only noise you hear is the songs of birds and the wind rustling through the trees. Each day we found a new adventure nearby in San Antonio and when we arrived back, dusty and tired, the pool offered the perfect reward for a day well spent.

Quiet and relaxing location

This is our second time to stay at the ranch on Cibolo Creek. It is a perfect spot to relax and unwind from the bustle of life. The heated pool is a big draw for us as well as the hiking trail along the creek where you can see nesting blue herons! The house is always clean, maintained and stocked with movies to watch at night. Amber is very attentive to your needs should you have any.

Amazing Property

We were in town for a wedding and decided to stay here instead of a hotel in La Vernia. Property and Host were AMAZING! Peaceful and relaxing. House is well appointed and has everything we needed. We are already planning to come back!

BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!

There is so much to be said about this place, I don’t even know where to begin! I stumbled upon this hidden gem while looking for something that would accommodate a bunch of loud and crazy baseball players for my sons 13th birthday. Right off the bat, the acreage caught my eye
.did I mention these boys are LOUD
. Then add the pool, the hot tub and the creek
I was sold! These kids had the time of their life. They spent most of their time walking the trails to fish in the creek and swimming in the pool. They were so excited that there was good WiFi but never once did they set up a gaming console
.i could not believe it!!! They were so intrigued by all of the nostalgic amenities that they had no interest in video games for 4 whole days! They found a cabinet full of board games and actually played them. This place transported me back to my childhood and made my heart so happy to watch them enjoy the things kids just don’t seem to do anymore. None of us were ready to go home and had more time been available, we would have stayed longer. They can’t wait to go back and neither can I. We are actually planning to do a moms trip there before taking the boys back lol. This is definitely our go to spot from now on. The owners are so friendly and accommodating and I can’t thank them enough for sharing this special piece of heaven. Once you get there, you won’t want to leave. Oh, HEB delivers there so that definitely comes in handy :)

We love that its very private. Pool and hot tub always ready.. i have family that enjoyed fishing at the creek and others who liked walking the trails and enjoy the nature. The 2 fridges come in handy when stocking up. That way we avoid having to leave to the store during our stay!

Family vacay

The property was as described. Everything was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The pool & hot tub were enjoyable & is where we spent most of our time. We also drove to different parts of the creek on the property. My husband caught a couple of different types of perch, a couple of small catfish and bass, as well as some cichlids that he had never caught before. My daughter and I walked through the creek. She swam a bit. She liked watching the cottontail rabbits around the house. The jets flying over were cool to see throughout the day too. My caution would be to wear shoes dusk & dark. The scorpions scurried around the pool during that time. That's just the country. We never saw them during the day and walked barefoot. There were no bugs in the house at anytime. We made memories and would return.

Secluded Getaway

We wanted a secluded getaway that is quiet and possible to see wildlife / Deer. We love the hot tub. Wasn’t quite warm enough to use the pool. Private with no neighbors visible from the home and deck area. This is exactly what we were looking/hoping for. We drove to San Antonio each day, about 30 minutes. This property is in the country, I-10 has construction in the area and realize the private road (a little rough) dead-ends at the property. It was perfect for us and are looking forward to visiting again soon.

Second Stay

Enjoyed our second vacation at lovely home. The ranch is beautiful with lots of peace & quiet among birds & wildlife. The pool is a wonderful plus to the home. There is lots to see & do in area. We hope to return again in near future. Highly recommend.

Perfect Family Getaway

I had the most incredible family getaway at this VRBO rental! The space was absolutely perfect for us, providing ample room for everyone to relax and unwind. The highlight of our stay was definitely the inviting pool and hot tub - it was a hit with both kids and adults alike. We couldn't have asked for a better place to create cherished memories. Highly recommended!
