Great view

Loved the view from this hotel and ability to sit outside. So relaxing. We had two queens in our room that were very uncomfortable though. Time to get new mattresses. We would really like staying here again but maybe not all 3 nights unless the mattresses are changed out. We did not get good sleep at all. They are extremely hard. Friendly staff and okay breakfast. Coffee is best at Gallery Coffee in town.

The stay at the hotel was clean and pleasant, with a good hot breakfast. The only negative was the barricaded road right out of the parking lot, blocking access to the city, which required a 15 minute detour to go around and back to the city.

I would not recommend this motel as long as the bridge to Munising is under repair. It feels very remote because there are no restaurants in the area. WITH THE BRIDGE BLOCKED IT'S A 20 MINUTE DRIVE TO MUNISING. I advise to check the state of the road closure before booking.
