We had a really enjoyable stay. Lovely and private. Only suggestion is with a bigger group with the extra charges per person per night it would have been a nice touch for some simple items that would reflect the booking size, a 1L or 2L milk in fridge, variety of teas (we only had earl grey on offer) and there's 2 coffee plungers but no plunger coffee to make. It was -2 overnight so we would have appreciated some extra blankets in the wardrobes to use if needed and more kindling for the fire. Small touches though, then I would have given it 5 stars. However I would definitely stay again.
As a group of 6 women we enjoyed the stay and amenities. The bedroom layout was suited to us well. 2 bedrooms and bathrooms at each end of house with living in between.
I received clear and timely instructions on how to access the property. The kitchen was equipped with absolutely everything required for self catering however there are great restaurants a 10 minute walk away so we mostly ate out. If Iâm ever in the area again Iâd definitely stay here again.
Excellent, secure property for a family get-together that included a small child who appreciated the toys and books available. Well equiped kitchen, however neither the cooktop nor the oven / fry pans were particularly clean (maybe provide scouring pads for the pans). There was no blue recycling bin which meant bottles etc had to be left beside the red bin.Overall, we would happily stay again and highly recommend this property
We had a really lovely stay at Wind Down on Esther. The location is superb, just a short walk to town. The home is beautifully furnished and has loads of space. We really enjoyed the outside deck and spa. Such a great spot for a ladies weekend away.
