This is an older motel. Portions of one of the buildings is roped off because it is collapsing. It is in the heart of town, very convenient. However, during the week there are large numbers of construction workers who come in to do jobs in the area. A bunch of younger men, who are away from family temporarily working difficulty jobs. They are loud and kind of rowdy.

The room was pretty clean. I was very happy that we had a whirlpool tub. The room was very hot even though our thermostat was at 68. Our friends said the same thing about theirs. Also, the lobby area was very hot. It was great having a bar on site although it’s very smoky but the people and staff are very friendly would definitely stay here again.

We normally stay here about every 4 months when we visit the area. This visit, we were assigned a room with no window. The air conditioner dripped all night to the point that we had to put a pile of towels under it. When I mentioned to the person at the desk that we didn’t care for a room with no windows, we got little sympathy and she proceeded to tell us that it was actually a closet they converted to a room. On this basis, I am not sure we will ever stay there again.

Be aware that this property has a hotel and motel on site and you may not get a room in the hotel but you won't learn that until you get there. Also know that there may not be door locks on the inside of your motel door. Finally you may not be offered a different room or refund even though the room is not what was represented on the booking page and that there are not locks on the inside of the room
