They mixed up my room stay and then blamed me. They are disorganized.

On my first night (5/16) a smoke alarm battery needed to be changed. I was already in bed and had to get dressed. The attendant on duty didn't know what to do. Didn't know where a ladder would be or a battery to change it. I had to stand on furniture to try to remove it. Recent hand surgery prevented me from being able to remove the battery. The attendant then came up to the room (# 211), stood on the furniture as well and removed the smoke alarm completely. It was never replaced during the rest of my stay. I did contact the hotel manager after my stay and left a message but never received a returned phone call.

I went with my wife and two sons Memorial Day weekend to see the Four Leaf air show at Jones Beach. It was ok they had a pullout bed that was broken and my boys don't like sharing bed so my 11 yr old stayed on couch. We wanted to wanted to leave early next day to beat traffic.kids wike up ready to go wanted to eat the continental breakfast and check out no go they wouldnt even let us grab a bagel that was out until 7 I figured 15 minutes wouldn't make a difference well we ended up going to McDonald's wasn't happy the breakfast was 1 of reasons I picked that spot.

Overall a nice hotel, room was a good size. The room had been recently renovated though the bathroom had some definite water damage in the ceiling. The breakfast was adequate. The staff it really depended on who was at the counter. The night person was either a man who really seemed to make up his own rules, and another person who did not seem interested in locking the door to keep the hotel safe at night since it was an inconvenience for her. I would certainly stay there again.

Comfortable & clean.

Very Clean lobby & Room. Outside above average but to be as nice as the interiors, the tile walkways and stairwell could stand a pressure cleaning. Great breakfast including fresh bacon and REAL eggs... Carbs as well... Coffee dispenser in lobby including Latte, Capuchino, and more. Very accommodating staff. Probably best bang for the buck along the route.
