Ok if only one night needed.

Serviceable hotel for an overnight stay. Kind of in the middle of industrial / commercial area of Shiojiri. Comfortable with nothing added. Breakfast fairly ordinary. Ok for coffee and bread.

Nice place in an unassuming area

This hotel keeps up with the reasonable comfort and quality of the Route Inn chain. Parking was convenient, if a bit strangely placed around the building. Breakfast had good variety. The room was a bit dated, but was clean. The bed was moderately hard and lumpy, and the lumpy, stiff pillows were not very comfortable, but that seems post for the course in mid range hotels in Japan. The area was convenient, though, near a supermarket, fast food, and a local Indian restaurant, not to mention the freeway. And all only 20 minutes from Matsumoto Castle.

Good hotel with quick access to the expressway

Although the room was rather small all necessary facilities are provided. Breakfast is included in the rate but is very limited in choice for Westerners
