This was the best VRBO rental we've ever had, and the only one where we're certain to come back.
We travel with our dog, and many places that allow dogs are clearly "dog places" insofar as they are more beat-up, chewed-up, or smelly. Not here. There was no evidence that another dog had ever stayed here. The place was clean, well appointed, comfortable, and had many small touches that made our stay great. (cute bear statues, and no bear head!) We didn't use the hot tub, fire pit or grill, but I'm sure those extras would make the place even better for others. We also didn't use the Wii, the DVDs, wireless speaker, games, extra blankets, extra TVs, etc. but we appreciated the hostess thinking about what different groups might want. Instead, we had great weather and sat down by the river a lot (lovely little rapids make a soothing sound all day long!), and we sat on the screened and covered porch a lot. And we visited the local wineries (a lot).
We aren't needy renters, but were thrilled with Jennifer's responsiveness when we had questions in advance, and most importantly when the power went out in a rain storm on our first evening at the cabin. I was barely able to get a text to transmit, but she was quick to reply and find out the status of the outage, convey estimated restoration time, and offered to bring oil lamps if it continued after dark. Which it didn't.
Nice AC, lots of ceiling fans, good Wi-fi, Keurig coffee duo (carafe/singles), nice fridge and range, big TVs.
