Construite en 2015, cette maison contemporaine au bord du lac a été conçue pour les vacances en famille et pour profiter pleinement de la beauté des environs. Deux suites de maßtre privées sont disponibles, chacune avec son propre porche pour profiter d'un café matinal tranquille surplombant la crique pittoresque. La premiÚre suite parentale dispose d'une salle de bain complÚte avec douche de luxe, tandis que la seconde suite dispose d'une salle de bain avec baignoire à jets. Et pour votre plus grand plaisir, toutes les chambres sont équipées d'une télévision à écran plat. 

Les espaces communs sont ouverts avec une vue imprenable sur l'eau et de nombreux siÚges à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Profitez du porche couvert surdimensionné surplombant le quai couvert. Le chef de famille appréciera également les cuisines gastronomiques bien approvisionnées et les zones de grillades en plein air.

IdĂ©alement situĂ© Ă  quelques minutes de la RT. 33 et Beach Island Marina, cette maison de vacances se trouve sur une crique privĂ©e avec de l'eau profonde et calme.  Une allĂ©e en pente douce vous permet, Ă  vous et Ă  vos invitĂ©s, de tirer pleinement parti d'un vaste parking et de la place pour votre caravane ou votre remorque de bateau. La maison a une vue imprenable sur la crique car elle rencontre la pittoresque riviĂšre Clinch.  Seule la beautĂ© de la crique et de la riviĂšre est visible depuis notre grande terrasse couverte qui s’enroule autour des deux cĂŽtĂ©s de la maison, permettant ainsi de superbes vues sur l’eau et la beautĂ© naturelle environnante.

Le quai couvert sera toujours mis Ă  la disposition de nos clients pour leur permettre de profiter d'une eau profonde toute l'annĂ©e. Profitez de notre terrasse ensoleillĂ©e pour la natation, le paddle-board et le kayak. Les eaux calmes de la crique constituent un endroit sĂ»r et calme pour les familles qui souhaitent profiter de l’eau. Nous avons fourni toute l'Ă©lectricitĂ© au quai avec la possibilitĂ© de contrĂŽler le courant du haut des escaliers afin que vous puissiez l'Ă©teindre pendant que votre famille profite de la crique.

Quiet with beautiful view

Very quiet setting with a beautiful view of the lake. House is spacious and comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood (hilly) roads for a good walk. Was able to hold a hour long Zoom meeting without any internet issues. Would book this house again.

Perfect Sisters Weekend Getaway

5 of us sisters had an amazing and much needed long weekend and Ned’s Norris Nook fit the bill. We absolutely loved so much about it. The kayaks were great, the hot tub was PERFECT for late night relaxing, the bonfire was fun, the kitchen had all the appliances and utensils we needed so we didn’t even have to leave
. we brought ingredients for every meal and just had a blast for 3 nights! Of note
. we had to call property management twice for things that were anyone’s fault and both times were met with instant responses. The first time was because the internet connection was bad and the TVs weren’t working right. The pm (Naomi) came and reset the router and spent a LONG time making sure every TV worked. She was so helpful! The second time was because there was a major storm in the night and the next morning our dock had disengaged from the track. Therefore, we had no access to the dock. That day the pm was Amanda and she immediately sent a dock crew to get it back in line. We did puzzles, played cards, drank wine, soaked in the hot tub, fished, kayaked, had a bonfire, watched movies, cooked meals and had an amazing time. The beds (and all else) were very clean and so comfy. We loved the screened in porches. Would highly recommend this cabin. Hesitant to leave a good review cause we want it all to ourselves. Haha

Nice stay, beautiful view of Lake Norris

The home was beautiful. On the water and awesome view of Lake Norris. Surrounding neighborhood (1 mile from lake) not as well off. We did contact management about a very bad smell (seemed like septic smell) coming from the first floor restroom. After a couple days maintenance person came out. Told us issue was fixed and smell would dissipate, but it didn’t. We just got used to it, but noticed it each time we left and came back inside. Hope they’re able to fix this for next renters. House could also use more/better lighting on first floor. Very dim in the evenings. Nice place to stay if you’re planning on just staying at house. Otherwise, most other activities (I.e., hikes, shopping) are at least a 30-45 min drive away.

Relaxing Getaway

The house was beautiful and property was very private, this was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Beds were comfortable, they provided plenty of beach towels, kayaks, and firewood (to be replaced if you used some). There are no houses across the lake, so you have an unobstructed view of the lake. Only advice if you're brining young ones is to buy a roll of window screen/mesh to wrap around the front porch rail so that it's childproofed. Overall, this house exceeded expectations and we plan to come back!

Beautiful Home With Bells and Whistles

Our stay was wonderful. The home is beautiful and immaculately kept with all the utensils and towels you could need. Only complaints are the oven didn’t seem to regulate the temperature like it should. The upstairs also got exceptionally hot while downstairs was cold. The interior of the home feels very dark at night and could benefit from brighter lighting. The exterior was also lacking lights by the hot tub area, which could present a safety concern . All of that said, we would stay here again and were very pleased.

Amazing Norris Lake Property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ned's Norris Nook! We have stayed at multiple different locations on Norris Lake and this one is definitely our favorite! It is so much easier to access than many homes on this lake, not to mention the stairs to the lake are much shorter than any of the other places we've stayed. The location on the lake is nice too, it's set back off of the main water way but not so far back in a cove that it takes a long time to get out on the boat. The house itself was so clean and well stocked and the AC and the wi-fi worked well. A couple suggestions would be to spray for wasps down by the dock, there's quite a few nests down there. Also, the pullout couch upstairs squeaks every time someone moves on it which isn't the greatest for sleeping. Overall, BEAUTIFUL home, we will be back!!

Great Lake stay

This property was perfect for our family! We had 6 adults and 2 infants and it worked great. Pros: house was gorgeous and very clean. It was stocked with lots of pans/bowls/utensils. The back porch is a stunner and we were outside the majority of our time there. The firepit is gorgeous and we were happy to find the lighting outside at night to be perfect with the string lights over firepit and motion sensor lighting on the stairs. After reading through many reviews we were pleasantly surprised how close the water and dock were to the house. Yes there are stairs but not that bad. Your calves will get a workout but it’s really very close compared to other properties. Cons: The trash apparently gets picked up on Wednesday, so if you check in for a weekend like we did on a Friday, the trash bins were completely full. We let the management company know and they responded to us right away. They were not able to fix the situation so we made due. The thermostat upstairs is also not working properly and leaves the room with multiple beds freezing at 62 and the other room warm at 74 right next to it. Overall we loved our stay and would love to stay here in the future! The house is truly stunning

Ned’s Norris Nook was a great place to celebrate family!!!

The place was nice, but it was really really dark inside. There wasn’t enough lighting and the walls were way too dark! The big beautiful windows were very dirty. Don’t get me wrong loved the place and would come back again if the lighting and paint on walls changed.

Just Book It!

We have been traveling to Norris Lake for years. We are boating / water sports focused. I am not a fan of nit-picking the small stuff which some folks can't help doing. In reading the previous reviews, I believe they are mostly accurate. Yes, the last mile or so is a bit tight (small roads) but manageable with full size pickup and suburban pulling 21'+tandem axle trailers. Driveway was plenty big enough to hold two trailers, and three trucks with room to spare. Cleaning crew were a little late in finishing up but they did not impede our arrival and unloading. I was unable to obtain boat house dimensions in advance of our arrival so including them hear for future renters: The covered dock slip is approx. 19.5 ft wide by 35+ ft long. There is a cantilever lift on one side but it was dropped to its lowest position and did not bock usage. The boat house was great but could use some love and care and needs to be better aligned with the property so the bridge stays aligned with the stairs. We had a storm come thru which caused the bridge to become unaligned with the stairs to a point we were a little concerned and contacted property mgmt who promptly dispatched someone to correct ... like within a 2 hours. Very responsive. The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking needs, the inside of the home was clean and well furnished and the master beds were very comfortable. The fire pit area was awesome. We forgot to ask if fire wood was supplied so we brought our own but later found a large wood pile on the property. We did not use the existing wood but rather left the extra we brought on the existing pile. Might be good to ask / clarify if renters are permitted to use whats there. My biggest recommendation to the owner / property mgmt would be to give the boat house the care it so deserves and if possible, have the upper windows in the great room cleaned periodically. The view is awesome but dirty windows detracts from this. Granted, the home is in the woods so expecting spotless windows is unreasonable. In summary, yes, we would rent here again without a second thought ... great location, great property, responsive property mgmt! One of the best all around properties we have rented and we have rented all over the lake. Thanks for an awesome week ...
