Superbe maison et emplacement prĂšs du lac Michigan

Bien que ce ne soit pas directement sur la plage, notre maison se trouve Ă  environ une minute Ă  pied des 83 marches menant Ă  la plage partagĂ©e de l’association. Mais vous n'ĂȘtes pas limitĂ© Ă  notre espace - vous pouvez marcher des miles dans les deux sens. Vous entendrez les vagues, sentirez la brise et pourrez vous promener sur la plage chaque fois que vous en aurez envie. La plage est magnifique, le lac est Ă  couper le souffle et les couchers de soleil sont lĂ©gendaires.

NichĂ© Ă  mi-chemin entre les communautĂ©s lacustres Silver Lake (Mears, MI) et Pentwater, Michigan, est le Ridge Road Cottage. IdĂ©ale pour passer du temps en famille, la maison comprend un grand espace de vie ouvert, cinq chambres de bonne taille, deux espaces de vie, trois salles de bain complĂštes et une cheminĂ©e. Il dispose Ă©galement d'un nid de corbeau qui peut servir de chambre supplĂ©mentaire (avec un matelas gonflable bien sĂ»r) si nĂ©cessaire. Il a un siĂšge de fenĂȘtre intĂ©grĂ© qui est idĂ©al pour trouver un endroit tranquille pour lire aussi.

Nous sommes proches de Silver Lake et de Pentwater. Quelques minutes de route suffisent pour vous rendre dans l'un ou l'autre endroit.

Good location. 5 minute walk to beach. Deep beachfront, association property. Not crowded even during July 4th week. Home in good condition. Fairly clean. Big deck for everyone to sit. Crows Nest was a hit for 12 year old, who made it "her place". Shower handle in downstairs bath a little loose/hard to turn on/off. Mark the owner was very responsive on texts and emails. His handyman Nick was prompt as well.

Wonderful location to be in the area that we love. Bedroom and bath situation was very accommodating for friends and family. Kitchen had everything needed for long weekend stay. Short walk to beautiful private beach on the big lake!

Great stay

We had an excellent stay here. The only constructive feedback I’d offer is that the host should put instructions on how to operate the basement shower on the wall - we had to contact the host to figure out how to operate the shower. Otherwise, the beds were comfy, the location is great, and the house perfectly accommodated our group. We would definitely stay again!

Things we loved about this cottage: The kitchen. It had everything we needed and all the equipment was nice. Even a Kitchen Aide mixer is tucked into a closet! Bedrooms. They were big with lots of closet space and hooks. Beds were comfortable. The beach. It was close. The design of the house. There was lots of light. There were separate areas. There was room to be together or apart. The deck was very nice. We were very comfortable in the cottage. Absolutely no stress! If you stay here make sure to go to Silver Lake Dune Climb and then ride across the dunes at Mac Woods. Rent bikes at Country Dairy in New Era and bike the Hart Montague Trail and then have lunch at the Dairy-good food and fun!

Annual Michigan family vacation

Property owner quick to respond and very helpful! Home is beautiful and in a great location. Plenty of room for a family vacation. Kitchen well equipped. Beautiful beach within walking distance. We hope to be back again next year.

Lake Life

Fantastic beach. Great for walking, playing and watching glorious sunsets. Nearby stairs to beach in Cedar Point Park was great for taking down the beach supplies; it’s wide and brand new. Short drive to Silver Lake with all the water toys you could ask for along with sand boards for surfing down the dunes. Near to Pentwater.

Perfect week away!

We had a great time at this house. We had 2 families: 4 parents, 4 teens and 4 aged 7-12, the property set up couldn’t have been more perfect! Bring a sharp knife and some non-stick pans if you’re cooking for a crowd though, the copper bottom stainless is not great for everything and the knives were all incredibly dull. There is a crock pot and a propane grill which made warming and cooking large meals easy. The beds were ok and linens were nice. It was great to have laundry on site too. There’s a nice fire pit and the walk to the beach is great, although there are lots of stairs to get to it. Ample places for everyone to hang out and play games on a rainy day. It was a quick trip up to Pentwater and so fast to get down the Silver Lake and the dunes. We would definitely book this house again!

We had a great time. The home was as described, however there was an issue with the main floor sofa(coming apart). However, the owner was very quick in responding and resolving the issue with a new sofa. Definitely would stay again!

Loved it!

We had an amazing stay at this Mears property! The house was clean upon arrival and spacious for our family of 10! It was beautifully located, a quick walk away from a private beach on Lake Michigan. The hosts graciously let us check in early and they were easy to work with, will definitely stay again!

Not well maintained

The house was spacious for a group of 12 people; however, it was not well maintained and was dirty. Missing cabinet in the kitchen, dirty stairs, smelled of mildew and we had to constantly sweep and clean the property just to feel comfortable. They also filled the soap containers with water and the bath towels wet cheap. Aside from the condition of the home the proximity to the beach was great. Just shocked at the price of the home. For that cost I would expect a beautifully maintained property.

Great property and location

We had a great time at this house. The house itself was clean and had lots of space. We enjoyed the deck almost as much as the house itself with lots of seating and a baby gate at top which was a nice touch. The beach felt very private and was beautiful. The location was very close to many attractions but also felt private. We definitely would recommend this property and stay here again!

Perfect location and home for family vacation

The house was roomy and accommodating. The association beach was wonderful. Even our 4 year old granddaughter handled the 83 steps like a champ. There is so much to do in the surrounding areas that we never ran out of fun things to do. Great place to make memories.

Great home for a group near the beach

We loved our stay and the location was fantastic! Mark was helpful and there was clear communication about check-in and what to expect. The only minor critique I would offer is that the rooms on the ground floor were not set up as shown in the photos (they were arranged with one twin and one double bed in each of the two rooms on the ground floor), which was a minor challenge for sleeping arrangements for our group, but it was all good. We really appreciated the kayaks too! We would recommend and definitely stay again.

Didn't stay even 10 minutes

When we got there, the WIFI was not working, and we had to go back to the main road to get cellular service to contact the homeowner and let him know that the place smelled of mold with high humidity in the house. Two members of our group are cancer survivors, and two others have heart conditions. It was unacceptable to stay in this place as it could have been a potential health hazard. We didn't even stay 10 minutes in this place, before we left! A complete waste of time and a let down for our trip.

Mark was very pleasant to work with and helped with any questions we had regarding the property. The property was perfect for our two-family stay over the long weekend. Besides the toaster not working (we didn’t call about this because we didn’t really need it), everything else was great. It is a short walk to the water and a short drive into Silver Lake and other surrounding towns. Would recommend this property!

Amazing Home

An amazing home with a great location. A quiet neighborhood, steps to Lake Michigan, a few miles away from the dunes and everything that Silver Lake offers. The home was very clean and as advertised. Weekend Warriors

We had a wonderful time at the property. It had a perfect layout for kids in the basement, adults on the main level, and teens upstairs. The deck was amazing for relaxing in the evening. We especially loved the short walk to the private beach. There were a lot of stairs, but the beach was well worth it!
