Ground Floor: Open plan living/dining room (A/C, Sat TV, WiFi) with doors to shaded dining terrace and doors to pool terrace. Kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher). Double bedroom (A/C) with en suite bathroom (Jack’n Jill to living room) and doors to pool terrace. Twin bedroom (A/C) with en suite shower room (washing machine) and doors to terrace. Separate access from both the covered front terrace or rear pool terrace to: Double bedroom (A/C, Sat TV) with en suite shower room. Outside: In built barbecue. Sun terrace. Shaded seating and dining terraces. Private parking. Irregular, L-shaped private swimming pool (8.5m x 6m at widest points) with Roman steps and shallow ledge/seating area.
Wonderfully located on a gently sloping hillside in a little enclave of just five, equally desirable properties, Andromeda enjoys a particularly privileged (and alliterative!) position! This is one of a very small handful of Meganisi properties that can boast far-reaching sea views from its pool and terraces across surrounding olive groves to both the North and South coasts of this charming and scenic island.
Thoughtfully designed and ideal for stress-free summer living, the heart of the house is a spacious open plan living/dining area where a glass wall and two individual sets of patio doors keep the room wonderfully bright and welcoming as well as offering direct access to the covered dining terrace and gorgeous pool area. A well-equipped kitchen sits towards one end while a twin bedroom and a double bedroom, both with en suite facilities and terrace access, are entered from the right and left hand sides of the room respectively.
With the benefit of direct access from either the front terrace or the rear pool terrace, a further double bedroom and en suite shower room sits immediately alongside, offering visitors an added degree of privacy whilst remaining in the centre of holiday activity.
A semi-bucolic haven where many an idle hour is guaranteed to be spent, the private pool and terrace are (in the nicest way possible!) an invitation to indolence, while two shaded seating/dining areas provide further relaxing refuge for when temperatures are at their peak.
Nearby, the sleepy hilltop village of Spartochori (750m) is home to everyday amenities that include two minimarkets, a bakery, a small pizzeria and family-run tavernas serving tasty local dishes. A famous look out point for pirates in days of yore, one of the most spectacular views on the island can be enjoyed from the town’s viewing terrace which, conveniently, can be found adjacent to the terrace of the Summer Sun café for when all that observing demands a cooling drink!
