I've had better sleeps in economy class long haul flights.
The bloke who lives there was bashing and crashing and talking loudly in the kitchen until 1am, five metres from the pods. Zero consideration for paying guests.
The light in the pod room is on all night, shining straight through the cheap shade you get instead of a door. The cheap, thin, foam mattress feels like you're lying on the hard pod frame. The pods make a racket any time someone moves, and you can hear other guests snoring. None conducive to sleep. If you're over 6'1 you won't be able to stretch out fully.
I wouldn't stay there again for free.
The room was very ordinary. Lack of blankets so I had put all my clothes on and was still freezing all night. And on top of that people making noises until 3AM. Even with ear plugs I only slept a couple of hours. Towel had a stain and was torn . No tiolet paper. Never again
Mould in the shower. Splatters of who-knows-what on the wall by the toilet. No aircon, and smoke from other guests if you open then windows. Sketchy af looking types staying there.
Haven't been in pod accommodation before but it seemed to work well. Had a room to myself that was very clean and comfortable, and shared bathroom was close. Kitchen facilities were well looked after. Manager was very considerate.
