Safe and secure. Comfortable and very easy to get to centre of Melbourne with a tram. Or even walk if you had to. 10 minute walk to the MCG. Grocery shop just around the corner. Would very happily stay there again.

Honestly cannot believe the couches. To the owners / managers please buy some couches that are comfortable. It feels no better than a park bench. Last time I said never again and stupidly fell for the cheap price. They are cheap but be prepared for the incredibly nasty and dirty side. Don’t consider cooking there unless you bring your own frypan Not responding to my messages on the Expedia platform meant I couldn’t cancel without losing my money.

The property itself was basic which is all we needed so that in itself was worth the money with kitchen. The queen bed was two singles put together which kept separating. The quilts were clean but had significant stains, wasn’t very appealing when looking at them but they were clean. The bathtub hadn’t been cleaned in a long time I scrubbed it so my kids could bath in it, the kitchen was missing cutlery, the toaster was melted and also hadn’t been cleaned in a while still functional after I cleaned it but a new toaster from Kmart is only $7 so replacing broken and worn items should be a priority. We did have a problem with our heater it broke on our first night but the owner did bring us a replacement and additional blankets at 9pm at night. I think if the cleaners paid a bit more attention to detail deep cleaning every so often, replaced missing items without guests having to ask it would be a good stay. No instructions for the heater or stove top so had to ring and ask. No rules about noise, a family leaving the building at 3am decided to do multiple trips not very quietly up and down the stairs they should have packed the car the night before like everyone else. Not the owners fault offcourse but if were given house rules that would have helped. Our last night we couldn’t park on the Carpark and had to park in the street because they over allocated parks. Taking that into consideration when booking or explaining to guests first would be a good idea but not a deal breaker

The room itself was good. Plenty of room in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was a cold night and even with the heaters on 30 degrees it barely did anything to heat the lounge room. And parking was a nightmare! Too many cars and not enough spaces. And so cramped that to drive in and out of the car park I literally had millimetres between my car and the two parked either side.

Expect nothing and you’ll be satisfied. Cracks throughout, dirty carpet, entire building smelt. Fine for a quick city stay (close to footy/rugby) wouldn’t be booking any time soon
