Our overall stay at the hotel was very enjoyable, with comfortable rooms and excellent service from the reception and concierge teams, who were consistently friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, two issues prevented the experience from being perfect. Firstly, despite pre-booking valet parking for a specific time to attend a wedding, we had to wait 20 minutes for our car to be returned. This caused us to arrive late and enter alongside the bride, which was quite embarrassing. Secondly, at breakfast several items in the bain-marie were only lukewarm or cold, which was disappointing given the otherwise high standard. With better coordination—particularly around valet service and breakfast food temperature—this would have been an outstanding stay. We hope these points can be addressed, as we would happily return if these small but impactful issues are resolved.

We enjoyed our two night stay at Crowne Plaza. The hotel is in a great location, close to Crown Casino and DFO with trams out front and trains nearby. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating, from reception to concierge and also very professional. Our room had spectacular river views and there were many lovely louge areas around the hotel too, as well as filtered water refill stations available. The only small downside was that I don’t prefer carpet and the glass bathroom door opening right onto the bed didn't allow much privacy, as having the layout of the bathroom and wardrobes switched around, would've worked better. The gym and outdoor pool looked very nice and well maintained.

We had a delightful long weekend at the Crown Plaza. Staff were friendly and super helpful. Our room was very quiet, comfortable and overlooked the river which was beautiful day and night. We enjoyed the pool and were in walking distance to things we wanted to do. Our only issue was construction affecting access and Uber drivers were confused which meant an unplanned walk with bags. We are looking forward to our next stay.
