Tucked away within the historic estate grounds, Keepers Cottage invites you to unwind in a dreamy king-size four-poster bed, with a beautifully appointed two-person spa just steps away — creating the perfect romantic retreat. In the cozy living room, a replica Victorian open fireplace sets a warm, enchanting atmosphere, complemented by a dining space, full kitchen, and all the comforts of heating, cooling, and a charming separate bathroom with a shower and toilet.

Wander through the lush, expansive gardens or enjoy a playful game of tennis on the half-court — the grounds are yours to explore at leisure.

Just a short stroll from the cottage, a peaceful walking track will lead you to the heart of Sassafras village, where quaint boutiques and inviting cafés await. If you're feeling adventurous, a longer wander will take you deep into the magical Sherbrooke Forest, where towering trees and winding trails are sure to steal your heart.

Of course, there’s Wi-Fi available if you need to stay connected — though we do encourage you to embrace the slower pace here. (Please note: internet and mobile reception can be a little temperamental in the Dandenong Ranges, so if you rely heavily on Wi-Fi, we suggest bringing a backup modem.)

If there is no wood and kindling provided at your property, it will be because of a Total Fire Ban day. The collecting and burning of twigs, leaves and branches from outside your property is strictly forbidden at anytime.
