Strange situation with no reception. Sharing the building with Adara apartments I found very confusing. Each had a separate reception of sorts in one of the apartments. Hard to contact with only a mobile no
We had a spacious apartment that could benefit from a good cleaning. We arrived at 6.30 pm to find we were locked out with no instructions on how to get our room key. There was nobody available at reception at any point during our 3 day stay. There was no WiFi information available in the room. We had to pay to store our luggage on the day we checked out because reception was extremely unreliable. Overall we had a disappointing experience and an unpleasant stay.
Apartment was good enough for our stay, and walking distance to MCG/Melbourne Park which is what we were after! Communication wasn't the greatest before/during our stay.
3 phone calls to the offical number went unanswered.
The room had not been cleaned from previous guests. The Monday manager had cleaning staff to the room and all that they did was wipe 2 tables. The cleaning staff came back again and I showed the man what my issues were and he only cleaned the toilet, removed the bar of soap from previous and swept up the toenail clippings. No fingerprints were wiped no grime from light switches nor the fridge toaster rangehood. The dirt behind doors and beside washing machine and dust everywhere. Never again and absolutely no recommendations from me.
Convenient property, close to everything including transport. Stayed on Xmas night - comms to get into the property were not the best to start but a conversation with the very helpful Bianca (I believe?) was great, and good instructions did arrive before I turned up to stay. Good pricing too. Thanks team!
TV in the main area wasn't connected and the remote for the bedroom TV had no batteries.
No welcome letter or detials for the WiFi, I did arrive after hours that process works well and is seamless.
No staff around only staff from Adara who weren't very helpful.
Room was fine, clean enough and bed was comfortable.
I'd most likely stay again as I want to do a AFL weekend during the season and its nice and close to the G and ammendaties in the area.
This apartment hasn't been cleaned properly in months. This was the most uncomfortable and disgraceful experience I have come across in any accomodation. We complained about the following-
Footprints on the walls
Urine on the toilet
Dust build-up on almost every surface
Rubbish left in the room and bedside draws
Someone elseâs sock left behind under the bed
Snot on the wall
A dirty, unclean bathroom
The kitchen is covered in grime
Crumbs on the lounge
No spare blankets
No flannels
Dishwasher not working
The toilet brush holder was full of dirty water and covered in dust
Hand soap almost empty
Bath unclean
The hotel "rectified" this by cleaning the toilet & stating the room needed to be painted and marks couldn't be removed. I was able to remove the marks with a baby wipe, they did not even try. Amongst that, the build up of filth in the room was clear as day that it hasn't been cleaned properly for a long time. We chose to stay here due to being close to a concert, and we were unable to find other accomodation to leave outside of our plans or we would have left the same morning.
They've declined to refund any money at all. Expedia tried to negotiate with them but they declined. Even on the day we complained the man was rude and no apology.
Do not stay at this property.
There was a lot of both red and black mould in the shower bay. Easy enough to remove. Just hadn't been done for a while. Loved the balcony. Bed was comfortable. 1 reading light was hanging loose. It did feel a bit 'tired' but it suited my one short stay close to the Epworth.
