Excellent daily room service with lots of extras included! Bathroom was brand new and there was heaps of room in the room and lounge room. Great convention oven in the kitchen.
The room was not as advertised at all. The heater did not work so we were literally freezing and got quite sick. Told management who offered to move us to a âblocked off room that had no hot waterâ and declined this obviously. Our room also didnât have great hot water and without heat didnât want to lose what little we had. Was given dinner in the restaurant the second night whilst they tried to fix the heater but ended up with dodgy chicken so beside freezing we now had mild food poisoning. Got moved to another room, without any help to pack up and relocate to a room which was the furthest one away. This room also had a non working heater! With no other option as we were getting sicker and still had another night asked to be refunded and told to contact the booking agent who spoke to the hotel. Long story but both sides said the other wouldnât authorise the refund and was even told heating and hot water are not guaranteed amenities despite being legally essential services. The hotel checked other rooms and barely any were working and this weekend was icy cold. Ended up having to leave and find another hotel and be ever more out of pocket but couldnât risk getting sicker. Disappointed no refunds were given when a full night was not used due to them not having any heat in the room and they know it wasnât working and it was freezing!!!
