We liked the propert, it was different but it seemed runned down. The room was very dark and not well lit. Seemed to need some upgrading due to wall discoloration and dirty or stained towels. The bowling alley didn’t function very good and not enough bowling ball selection (bf has large hands/ fingers). Food selection was only from the one burger restaurant for room service. Did the service for a couple of nights but not worth the cost.

Great property, but disappointed for the $500 pd!

Property itself is great! The room was nice, BUT it was so loud! You could hear the people in the room next to us! You could hear kids screaming from porches until about midnight. I get having a good time, but it was Incredibly loud. Then the neighbors at at 5am! When you needed a little sleep for the 8 hour drive home, you’d think you could get that. For money we paid for this room it was very disappointing! Staff were great, breakfast was good. Loved the shopping and dinner.

First Time in Memphis, TN

We stayed in an interior room with two queen beds. It was very nice and the bathroom was amazing. It was neat staying on the interior side, but I would recommend the exterior for natural lighting and privacy. That is just my personal preference. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The views from the top of the pyramid were spectacular. The hotel is only a mile from Beale St., where we got to hear awesome live blues music at B.B. King’s and later had amazing BBQ at Central BBQ a few blocks over. Thank you to the Cypress Lodge shuttle driver for recommending both. At the lodge, we also had our first Wahlburgers meal, bowled, shopped, and relaxed. It was a fun trip.

Romantic night away gone bad

We chose a room with a jacuzzi tub to enjoy and relax in during a romantic night away. Once we got in the tub, the jets didn’t work. So we had to get out and call the maintenance people. Then they couldn’t get it working. So we didn’t get to enjoy the upgrade of the room we selected. Then we went to bed and in the middle of the night the tub motor began running loud and woke us up. It wouldn’t shut off. We had to call maintenance again. They turned off the breaker. We asked for another room but all they had two full beds. I am over 6 feet tall and I don’t sleep well in a full. Plus, my wife and I wouldn’t have slept comfortably in a full and we got ways to be together. It was a terrible experience and I hope to get a refund.

The staff at the hotel was amazing. I would definitely stay at the hotel again, but I would do my shopping somewhere elseThe staff at the bass pro shop was not only rude, but you almost couldn’t get anybody to help you. The staff at the tower at the elevator was extremely rude. And then to close the bowling alley down on a Saturday night because they had a private party was ridiculous with no warning to hotel guest.

It’s a fishing anglers dream spot

Must go see Memphis Bass Pro Pyramid and stay at the Cypress Lodge hotel and shop the whole place. Any fishing anglers dream for sure and they got everything even restaurants. You never have to leave the place.

Our experience at Big Cypress hotel

My wife and I were assigned a room that was designed for handicapped individuals and they refused to give us a different room. The lights in the bathroom didn't work unless you play with the switch and my wife noticed mold on the shower floor, it was very dark throughout the building and the bed in our room had hair on the sheets and pillows.The staff was very nice and courteous but, it was alil difficult trying to communicate with the staff that didn't speak English but again they were very kind and the resort had beautiful aquarium's and shops to explore.
