Property isn’t in the nicest part of town. After our arrival, we stopped and talked to an officer on patrol and a security guard at a local store who both made concerning comments about the property address. If my husband and teenage sons had not been arriving later that evening, my mother, little boys and I would have been gone. However, we had a quiet and uneventful stay. Streets were quiet at night with no wanderers like near-by streets. Both sets of doors did have locks on door and storm doors. The house was spacious. Not the most welcoming but plenty of room for the kiddos to play. Nice backyard with mowed grass (front had weeds knee-high). The front room’s bathroom had a foot high stain on the shower curtain liner. Easily fixed if it would have been laundered between stays. The few towels for the entire house were in that front room’s closet. Washcloths were delivered the next day when none were found in the house. The floors were dirty-kiddos feet were dark brown quickly. I have 4 boys, dog, cats and a bird and their feet never look like that at home. A magic eraser or coat of paint would do wonders for the wall of windows in dining area. A few decorative/traveler-friendly touches would really elevate the experience here. A box of tissues on the table, charging cables, moss or other filler instead of paper stuffed down in to hold fake plants, detergent for dishwasher, etc. Otherwise, we had a nice stay with great host communication.
