Loved the hotel, staff, and on-site amenities. The Guest House at Graceland runs tight — clean rooms, solid service, and everything inside the property is well maintained. The lobby, courtyard, and pool area were a great spot to wind down after a long day with the family. Only drawback? Once you step outside the hotel grounds, the area around it falls short. Other than Graceland itself, there isn’t much going on nearby. The property feels like an oasis sitting in the middle of an otherwise empty stretch — not unsafe, just lacking things to do or places to eat within easy walking distance. Overall, the hotel delivered, but plan your itinerary accordingly because the immediate surroundings won’t fill the schedule.

Stay at Guesthouse for Safety

I was shocked by the depressed area of Memphis and Graceland. The Guesthouse is probably the safest place to stay in Graceland. You have secure parking and a shuttle runs every 30 minutes to view the Graceland mansion. The hotel is good but overrated. No microwave in room, the refrigerator didn’t work well it was barely cool, and you have to pay for WiFi hookup. Overall it is safe. Your room key lets you in and out of parking lot which is guarded. The hotel lobby has a nice bar and they have entertainment (we saw an Elvis impersonator) - he was very good. We were warned not to stay in downtown Memphis when street lights come on be back at hotel for safety. I would recommend get out of Memphis no later than 3pm. Lots of crazies wondering around. Don’t carry a purse and park in an open area.

We love to stay here when we are in Memphis. Gated hotel and always feels very safe. A great bar and 2 restaurants on the property. Pool is really nice.

The property was beautiful! The pool area was really nice. We also loved the theatre that played Elvis movies. The hotel was great because you could shuttle over to Graceland and back which made it very easy. We also did the pink limo pickup service to Marlowe's and that was super fun! Great trip and we have told all our friends and family that they need to go also.
