Just back from a fantastic week at Anglesey Lodge. A beautiful setting and a beautiful, comfy lodge, everything you could need and more. My husband and stepdad in law were made up with being able to fish from the decking, whilst we were able to sit in the sunshine watching the local wildlife.Great location for exploring the island as well, visited Beaumaris, Penmon Point, Newborough Forest and beach, The Dingle Nature Reserve (saw red squirrels up close), South Stack lighthouse (saw thousands of sea birds including Puffins), Treaddurr Bay, Llanberis Lakeside Railway and Slate Museum and finished up with a Rib Ride along the Menai Straits. Will hopefully be back again in the not to distant future.
