Wonderful home in a peaceful setting. Owners were lovely. We stayed here for our sonâs trip to All Star Village (about a 25 minute drive). Great place if you have other kids not playing in the tournament - lots of games and tons of outdoor space. Convenient to grocery store, downtown Oneanta, etc.
We had an amazing time during our stay in Treadwell! We were 3 baseball families sharing the home during the Cooperstown All Star Village tournament. The 22 minute drive to the fields was scenic and convenient. The younger siblings enjoyed playing wiffle ball in the old horse run! Alex and Sara were hands off yet accessible when we had questions. We'll definitely be back in 2 years when our youngest son is Cooperstown bound!
Absolutely loved staying at this property while our son played baseball at All-Star Village. Yes, it's a 22-25 minute drive to the fields, but honestly it really wasn't a hassle whatsoever for us. We loved being out in the country and sitting out back in the morning and listening to the sounds of the birds and the stream. Also loved taking walks out back down to the small pond. Cell service around the home is spotty, but they have excellent Wi-Fi and we never had any issues with getting calls or emails. Modern kitchen with all of the supplies and amenities you could ask for. They have a walk-in shower upstairs and an older small tub with shower curtain downstairs that we all wanted to use but always found ourselves taking turns in the upstairs bathroom shower. We had two familes and tons of extra space and room. They have smart tv's in each room and a tv downstairs and a great sound system to play music while cooking dinner. In summary, if you don't mind a little drive to and from the ballpark and love being out in the country where you can relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature while staying in an 1800's uber chic home with all of the creature comforts then this is the place for you. We would gladly book this home again. P.S. Highly recommend taking a 10-minute drive over to Delhi and eating breakfast/brunch at the Blue Bee Cafe. The Avocado Tartine is amazing!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners did a great job of communicating. The house and the property were very nice. My only critique was I found the cooktop in the kitchen to be outdated. It was fine for heating a pot but the small grates made it clumsy to cook using multiple pans.
This was a great place to stay in our favorite corner of the Catskills. The house is really nicely styled, and is very spacious and comfortable - there were 6 of us and a dog and plenty of room for all. Sarah was a super responsive and helpful host. The kids loved the games room - a great thing to have on a rainy day. And you HAVE to try eightymain restaurant just down the road - one of the best we've ever eaten in!
Great house to spread out in with my adult sons and their kids! Cozy place while we experienced a blizzard outside....no boredom with plenty of games and a great kitchen w all the amenities. Hoping to return!
A group of 10 friends and family spent the weekend with each other in this stunning home. We loved the enormous kitchen and made use of the comfy living areas and game rooms. Even in winter, the house was warm and cozy, and we couldn't have slept better. I would gladly come and visit again!
The house is in great shape. The location was perfect for us. We attended a cooking class at Strickland Hollow Farms tasting room in Delhi and hosted a dinner at the house.
Gorgeous 1800s property with plenty of room, books, kids toys, and space to relax. Chef kitchen. Large outdoor spaces with a beautiful creek flowing. Antiques; beautiful furniture & art⊠we loved our stay!
We stayed here with family for the weekend while we attended a wedding close by and we couldnât say enough good things. The house is spacious, cozy, clean, and full of amenities and fun. The host was very accommodating and responsive! Would recommend to anyone!
Four couples stayed here to visit Cooperstown for Big Papi's induction. We were late looking for a place in Cooperstown, and although it was a bit of a drive, it worked out for us. Lovely accommodations and many rooms with different activities, game room, TV room (karaoke), living room, and generous kitchen and dining room. The kitchen appliances are a little tired, but we were able to cook large meals at breakfast and dinner. The sunsets were amazing from the picnic table, we wish there were large windows or doors in the dining room to the west to see these views from inside, the entire area around this house is very scenic.
We had a lovely two night stay at this quirky and fun rental. The space accommodated our group of six adults and three kids - the only thing future guests may want to think about is that one of the queen bedrooms requires walking through the room with the bunk beds (luckily our kids are heavy sleepers), and the double bedroom is quite small for two adults. The long table and open kitchen/dining room set up are ideal for cooking/gathering. The many toys, books, and games for kids and general outdoor space were a huge bonus for us!! The kids were in love with this place. And we especially enjoyed using the outdoor space for grilling, fire pit, games with kids, and strolling across the field to the creek. The weather was perfect and we got to see glorious sunsets over the hills. The host contacts were responsive when we discovered a lack of bath towels. There were a few issues with cleanliness and having to go out and get basic supplies the first day (toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels/dish towels). But on balance this property was great for our needs and we had a fabulous time.
