"Ein Mietauto ist dringend zu empfehlen, da das Hotel etwas ab vom Schuss ist. Zum Beach fährt zu bestimmten Zeiten ein Shuttle, auch wenn es nur 17 Fußminuten entfernt ist, ist die Straße ohne Fußweg bis runter (auch durch die gefährliche Fahrweise der Italiener) nicht anzuraten. Im Ort Mongiove und Patti gibt es viele Restaurants. Allerdings ist es auch zu größeren Städten (Taormina, Messina, Palermo) immer ein gutes Stück (1-3h) zu fahren. Wer Stadtflair will, ist hier falsch. Wer Erholung mit tollem Pool und gutem Frühstück braucht, ist hier richtig. Teilweise ist im Ort und auf der Insel sogar Englisch eine Sprachbarriere."
