The staff are wonderful. San Marino is what I would call a no frills hotel. It is very old and in need of a full renovation, but it nonetheless has all the basics needed by budget conscious tourists or business people. They are slowly making upgrades, notably the elevators which have just been completed. I have been coming here for years and prefer San Marino over other similarly priced hotels.

Rundown Hotel but with Excellent Service

Very central hotel, great price for the area. It's just very very old and outdated on the inside, to the point that the rooms can't be properly cleaned because of it. ie: torn and stained carpets, scratched and broken door frames, water stained tile in the bathroom, missing sink topper, leaking shower, scratched and stained tables/wood features. It is very run-down. Besides the condition of the room - the service, location and price were great.

I enjoyed my stay at The Exes Suite San Marino Hotel. Though the actual apartment suite is more dated looking in person than in the photos, the suite was nonetheless clean and comfortable. The king size bed we had was comfortable and I slept very well. The property neighbors to a festive restaurant that either plays live music or reasonably loud tunes. There’s an Oxxo right across the street, many cafes and restaurants nearby, or the wonderfully priced food street vendors that is equally delicious. This hotel is ideally located especially with the main avenue of La Reforma. If I return to Mexico City, I would definitely re-book with Exes Suites San Marino.

La locación es muy buena y el personal es muy amable, pero las fotos que tienen aquí no coinciden para nada con la realidad de la habitación, la habitación estaba en muy malas condiciones, el techo se esta cayendo por partes, la cocina esta vieja y se caen las gavetas, la cama es chiquita e incomoda para dormir dos personas y la tele solo tiene como 5 canales, aparte las paredes están sucias y descuidadas, el agua caliente en el lavamanos se tardaba una eternidad en funcionar. NO LO RECOMIENDO PORQUE SUS FOTOS SON UNA MENTIRA CON LA REALIDAD!

Me gustó la ubicación, el personal es amable. Pero la habitación no fue lo mejor, el piso estaba muy desgastado y en la regadera era difícil regular la temperatura del agua, salía o muy fría o muy caliente, lo cual no me gustó para nada. También el foco de la lámpara a lado de cama parpadeaba en la noche y tuvimos que retirarlo para poder descansar, por último el agua del inodoro no dejaba de correr todo el tiempo, cerré la llave por la noche porque se escuchaba como que se estaba tirando.
