We had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Catedral. The staff was outstanding—very professional, attentive, and always willing to guide us on how to get around the area. Their recommendations truly made our trip smoother and more enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of everything and perfect for exploring the city. Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommend!

Overall stay was good for the exception of them not booking our hot air balloon ride. We met a wonderful worker that went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me and my brother. He ended up giving us a ride to the pyramids and to basilica with a stop to have the best street quesadillas we had during our whole visit. Gennaro saved the day. Location and restaurant were amazing.

Had such a great stay here! Everyone was so attentive and great service! The location couldn’t be any better, literally around the corner from the historic zocalo! I had a great room with a balcony that was so beautiful! They also have a beautiful terrace that had views of the zocalo! Absolutely recommend and will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Mexico City!

Can’t say 1 bad thing about this hotel! We arrived at 1:30 am and got upgraded to a wonderful room in the Pyramid Tower overlooking the Cathedral. Customer service with recommendations to various places were much appreciated. Food was plentiful and delicious. We appreciated the free snacks and warer. Rooms are clean, food was plentiful delicious

Our room was newly remodeled. clean and comfortable… The complementary water every day and other drinks was much appreciated. The staff service was excellent, they were kind and very helpful. The only draw back was the close proximity to the Zocalo (main courtyard) which was a nonstop drum playing throughout the day and most of the night.

Highly recommend this hotel! Location can’t be beat being right behind the Zocalo. The staff and services were excellent! They were very kind and helpful with things like dinning experiences, taxis, etc. they have amenities daily including snacks, coffee, tea and free bottles of water. We will definitely rerun here when we go back to Mexico City.

Complimentary upgrade to the Pyramid Tower - lovely, very clean room with comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. Staff was super friendly and helpful at all times. Easy sightseeing in the area with tons of restaurants and Oxxos around every corner. Late night room service available at reasonable prices. Only issue was noise due to the seemingly thin walls - could hear hallway conversations easily and if you have loud neighbors with crying children could put a damper on your morning sleep-in, so bring earplugs. But this is a tiny blip in an otherwise amazing stay.
