Amazing Hotel!

First of all they are built on top of an Aztec ruin with glass floors viewing it. Secondly the staff is over the top professional. The suit we had was beautiful and the hospitality is priceless. Right behind the Catderal location is perfect.

My stay at Hotel Catedral was wonderful! I would recommend this location to anyone wishing to stay in a central area in CDMX. The room was large and clean, with everything you would need to have a comfortable stay, including shampoo, soap, lots of towels, plenty of outlets, and coffee machine. The manager we worked with when an issue arose with an employee was extremely empathetic and understanding, and her professionalism and courtesy did not go unnoticed.

Hotel Catedral was the best choice. Historic property with modern features. All staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was pristine clean and after a week of sleeping on different accommodations, the bed at Hotel Catedral was like sleeping at home! We will stay at the hotel next time we visit CDMX. Is the best place to stay!

This is our second stay at the Hotel on layovers between connecting flights. The hotel is a perfect location to visit some of the city's main historic and archeological sites. Standard rooms are small. We booked a standard king with "balcony." The balcony is as relatively small as the room, and a sitting bench has to be moved to open doors to it. There is no good place to store the bench. From our 2nd floor room, among the newly remodeled and now lacking charm, the balcony view is only the rear facade of the Catedral across the narrow street. I wouldnt paythe extra $20 for a balcony. The bed is comfortable and you are offered a selection of head and body pillows. The mini refer was very lightly stocked and no price list was present. The Nespresso machine was good for two Americanos, but there was only one creamer packet (!?). There were two leaks in the modern bath, one coming up through the tile floor and a other dripping from the ceiling just inside the pocket door. These should not exist for a $200 room in the center. Checkout time at 1330 is generous.

Perfect centralized location! Walk on the other side of the street and you're already behind the Catedral. Friendly staff, clean room and great cleaning services. Breakfast was good but nothing outstanding. We had a white wall outside our window, so no view
