My family stayed a week at Hotel PF and it was… an experience. We arrived full of Canadian optimism, only to be greeted with half-hearted smiles and zero enthusiasm.
Our room had no fridge—with two small kids, for a week. The “doble” beds were literal doubles, and mine felt like concrete. Requests to switch rooms or get a fridge? Denied. Expedia couldn’t help either, so we were stuck PF-ing it.
Breakfast was cold and expensive, with staff attitude colder than our lukewarm orange juice. Housekeeping gave two towels and two mini waters for four people—and even threw out the water we bought. Asking for replacements became a comedy of bouncing between front desk and restaurant, finally scoring one tiny bottle… with attitude.
Location is good, I’ll admit, but we later saw a fridge in a room being cleaned. Magical.
Departure was chaos: the hotel taxi took us to the wrong airport, held our luggage hostage, and demanded $1,800 pesos before we could leave. We made our flight with minutes to spare.
Half-hearted apology from management later. Easily the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had—do yourself a favor, pick a different place, and may you find a dime on the sidewalk for reading this absurd saga.
