The location is fantastic. Roma Norte is a vibrant neighborhood with lots of wonderful restaurants, shops, and cafes in close walking distance. It's a short taxi/uber to the airport (unless there's rush hour traffic) and an easy walk to public transit (very inexpensive and often faster than a cab). The gated entrance and guard are nice, but I never felt unsafe walking around in the area. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen table makes a nice gathering place. We didn't cook, but the kitchen itself was very clean and in good condition. It was nice of them to provide coffee supplies and filtered drinkable water. They are not joking about the street noise. San Luis Potosi is a busy road, and two of the bedrooms face it. If you're a light sleeper, I'd recommend the back room. Even with fans and white noise, I woke up many times at night.

The location, cleanliness, and the host’s communication and responsiveness were excellent. The apartment itself is in slight disrepair. If you are booking for the advertised private outdoor space, be aware that while it is “private” (sole use), it is situated in the middle of the building, surrounded by other apartments on all sides, and as it is a low floor, there is no privacy and pretty much no sunlight so too cool and exposed to actually enjoy. Building standards are obviously lower than what we are used to- constantly disturbed and awoken by noise from the people who live in the unit above.We booked an extra night on the front end of our trip due to arrival at 2am. We provided all of the information required for check in, in advance, however a miscommunication between the host and security personnel resulted in us standing on the street in the cold and dark at 2am for about 30 minutes. The lines to the hot water heater sprung a leak during our stay. The host arranged for a maintenance worker to attend the apartment while we were sightseeing for the day. They only arrived at 7pm to start diagnosis when we had returned home to freshen up for dinner. He was there until 9pm and then returned the next day to fix the problem and resume water supply. The following day there was no hot water and I had to figure out how to get the hot water heater working again myself.Insufficient amenities - low hand and dish soap, low TP, and no dishwasher soap provided.

The apartment was exactly what we were looking for and in a great location in Roma Nte. One of the best things is how communicative the hosts are. While we were provided with everything we needed during our stay, the hosts made sure we knew they were available at a moment's notice.

Overall, our stay was lovely. The apartment was nice and clean, well kept and served us well. The filtered water source was super helpful. It was nice not to have to worry about finding a supply of drinkable water each day. Host was prompt in their responses to messages, requests, etc. I was appreciative of that. There were intermittent issues with hot water supply which the host addressed immediately. Noise from busy street didn't bother us but you could hear cars and motorcycles drive by. Street was pretty quiet at night.

The apartment was well located on the 1st floor (US 2nd floor) of the building. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well appointed, plenty of light. Suggestion: bedrooms could use room darkening curtains. While there are no adjacent bars (), it is a city and you may want to bring earplugs. Great place to base yourself and short walk to many restaurants and cafes. Recommend.

I would highly recommend staying here! This home is located in such a vibrant part of the city. There are endless places within walking distance for food, drinks, shopping, and transportation. All of the rooms are spacious and offer comfortable beds. The hosts were quick to respond and helpful, and the security team at the front were all very nice.

Great Location, Difficult Check-in

The building is in a great location in Roma Norte and had 24 hour security. It felt self, was clean, and the apartment was as pictured. Although the host responded timely to all inquiries, the check-in process was not easy. We were told we would receive information to access the apartment a few hours before check-in. We arrived at the building late in the evening and showed our IDs to security as instructed, but we still had not received information about the apartment number or access code (which the security guard did not have either). We waited with security for a while before finally hearing back from the host about the access code.
