When we arrive the apartment was cleaned, blank and pillow sheet disty with stains, hair in beds and bathroom, also an underwalear on the kitchen. We reach the host and they tell us and clean it, but it wanst true. I send the photos back, but nothing happend. Door and decoration in low conditions. The balcony door does not open. If this things can be fix, its fine.
Host never communicated the entire time. I had to get Vrbo support involved multiple times to try and help. Needless to say we had to find a new place last minute. I did not want to risk waiting just before check in to see if they would finally respond. Horrible experience!
The view and location were very nice! I messaged the host numerous times about information on checking in and advice on the area with no reply for months. The day of our check in he sent a message 3 hours before noon that I need to send a picture oh my id by noon or our check in would be delayed until the next day, but we weâre on our flight. I had a layover and happened to check my messages 7 minutes before noon.
There was 8 of us staying, but only 4 towels in the whole place, and they had long curly hairs on them! It wasnât very clean, it did the job for 1 night but we werenât very impressed.
Overall it was a good unit, great location, something against will be that there was not enough towels, and communication with host a little bit slow with host at the check in time, everything else was good.
So communication with the host was completely awful. They delisted the property after we made the reservation so we couldnât see anything and they didnât respond at all on VRBO. We had to contact VRBO just to get the address and any details for checking-in.
The place itself wasnât bad however itâs located RIGHT next to the elevator and at the top by the motor. So all night and day the elevator motor was super loud.
We had to buy our own toilet paper because they gave us 2 rolls and then we couldnât contact them again after. The lobby workers were super nice but couldnât do anything for us. The main TV remote didnât work properly so we couldnât watch tv. And the A/C didnât work on Friday night.
All in all It worked for us for ULTRA weekend when availability was scarce but I would NOT stay there again if thereâs anything else around.
The hostâs communication was extremely bad.
No responses to calls, texts, or through the Vrbo app until the day before check-in âand that is only after Vrbo got involved to contact directly.
Vrboâs assistance was inconsistent. Using the chat feature was not good as they suggested trying to contact the host with an alternate Colombia international phone number. Once I got someone on the phone at Vrbo, they were able to get the host on the line to acknowledge that I needed my check-in instructions email.
Vrbo also didnât let me know in advance that the host delisted their property with them and therefore had less ability to handle issues.
Iâve had good experiences in the past with other Vrbo properties but this one has me concerned going forward.
Perfect location and amazing views from the 43rd floor Penthouse. Really, really nice gym and sauna and pool and game room.
It is a perfect place for those who are gonna eat all their meals outside the hotel. But it's not the kind of place you want to stay in during the day.
It was great for us because we were in the center of everything and only ate at restaurants and did activities away from the hotel.
The beds were clean and high quality. And the hot water in the shower worked great.
The condo was very clean, needed a little updating, but properly was spotless. There were 8 of us and only were given 5 towels. We reached out for more, but did not receive until the evening before we were checking out. Communication with the owner was good before we arrived, but very delayed after we checked in. Location is a great spot.
Only other is you only get 1 key and you need keycard to get into elevator.
We were very pleased with location and views from the balcony. The interior could use some TLC, couch and rug need to be replaced, a few maintenance issues, but we still enjoyed our stay.
One thing I should mention, the property only comes with 4 bath towels total, so that could be an issue if you have more than 4 guests. Also, parking in the garage is convenient but will also test your driving skills.
Overall, we liked the space, loved the view, and the location in Brickell is unbeatable. Will stay here again in the future.
This was an amazing place! Great location and comfortable beds. Host was very communicative and very quick to help out with anything we needed. Only complaint is that there was only one set of keys.
