Bathroom: The sink soap dish won't stay in place, and the shower curtain clings to your body the moment you turn on the water. It is false advertising to market this as a hotel room. There isn't even a glass to drink from; given the heat, a mini-fridge is a necessity; and the entrance hallway is cluttered with junk. (A fisherman's shack would be more comfortable.)

The only reason I scored the way I did is because the room I was assigned to I could not get in and finally after trying severely a young man came to the door and said no this my room I showed him my details! I tried over a hour calling the contact number and of course kept going to voicemail. The young man suggested going from door to door to try my code and it finally open up door 1! So at this point I call again to get a new code because I’m a single female alone there in Miami and it just kept going downhill. The property is in a great location and is very clean but the owner definitely need a new company to represent him and have an emergency number in place so things like this can get handled quickly.

The location itself was a bit confusing at first, the rooms are above a stairwell right above a restaurant so it took us a second to find lol. But once we figured the gate out it was smooth sailing from there. The gate has a code for some extra safety, as well as the front door leading to the rooms, and your personal door itself. There was a total of 3 locks, as a young woman safety was never questioned. I booked my stay pretty last minute literally the day of, and staff were on it about reaching out to me and making sure everything went smoothly which I loved. The rooms were very clean and super nice. I was very pleased with my stay and will DEFINITELY be booking here again!

Clean room. Easy check-in/check-out process. Alton Rd. is an underrated location. Lots of great restaurants on West Avenue. For the price, I was very pleased with my accommodations. Would consider booking there again.
