My trip to Miami was cancelled by the big snow blizzard. I tried to explain to the hotel to give me hotel credit while I tried to reschedule my trip. They are not sympathetic and they are not cooperating. They went ahead and charged me the rooms that we didn’t even check in. Not bringing any businesses to this brand for sure.

Overall rating: Terrible What didn’t go well: Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. We were staying to celebrate my wife’s birthday, but there was absolutely no acknowledgment at all — no greeting, no small amenity, no gesture, not even complimentary water. We had to purchase water from the hotel just to drink. The room itself was dusty, with visible dust throughout, which made it feel unclean and poorly prepared. Overall, there was zero sense of care or understanding that this stay was meant to be a special occasion. I honestly did not expect this level of service, especially from a hotel associated with Marriott standards, and particularly not from citizenM, which promotes itself as a modern, guest-focused brand. This experience fell far below expectations.

The room was clean and, the hotel has a number of areas you can sit down for meetings or just some coffee. The proximity to the Port of Miami is great. There are a number of places to eat (breakfast, lunch or dinner) near this hotel so that is a major plus.
