Honestly my stay didnât start out great. The initial property I had was double booked so I was upgraded to a larger unit to accommodate on the day of my checkin. I was a bit skeptical about this but of course accepted. I came into the new space and it wasnât clean and there were mosquitos. I quickly contacted the host and wow what an incredible woman. She swung into action came to the unit herself and cleaned and changed my sheets! She also made sure the mosquitos were taken care of. She was so sweet and friendly and honestly made me feel comfortable. The tiny homes are adorable so that speaks for itself but the customer service of the owner is unmatched and if I needed this space again I would definitely return!
Itâs legit a small house in the heart of everything. Every major restaurant, mall or club is a short 10-15 minute ride. The host kept clear communication and it was very clean. Would recommend.
Vrbo Host cancels/refunds on day of check-in because the unit was double booked after I had reserved & paid in full a few weeks prior. Someone took my spot!? I drove 1400 miles & was suddenly stranded in Miami on the afternoon of check-in with nowhere to go. Hours of Vrbo customer service calls later, I was instructed to search and book a last minute alternative place for the weekend on my own through Expedia. Vrbo did spring for a hotel room for one night. It was a complicated and shocking first Vrbo experience for me. Prayerfully, I was relieved to find a safe alternative property at an apartment complex. I still don't know why this happened with this tiny home, but I hope it never happens again to anyone.
