The hotel itself was clean, nice, and comfortable. It was our first time in Miami and so we had to fly in we arrived at around 11am with check in posted at 4pm which was fine but we contacted the hotel just to see if a earlier check in was available. the first time we called the desk told us to check back at 1:30 so we did was told to check at 2:30 so at 3:00 we stopped by the hotel just to follow up from the previous call again we were fine with the 4pm check in was just following up from the previous call. I’m not sure what the guys name was but grey hair and a grey beard he was an absolute rude individual that truthfully has no business behind a desk other than to go on power trips made 0 eye contact took my I.d for 10min while on his computer and tossed it on the desk with a short “nope check in at 4pm” that was the first encounter the second with the same guy room service had collected our towels and only returned 1 full sized towel no rags but 2 hand towels I asked about getting the other towels he told me nope, I’ve sent you all the towels already and wanted nothing to do with rectifying the situation I proceeded to tell him that room service had collected our towels left one but there are two people in the room he told me two more times that I do not get any more because he’s sent all the towels already. I try not to but after getting somewhat irritated he finally said he’d send someone up all for like three towels other than him the rest of the hotel was pretty good!

I’m very upset because there is construction work outside very noisy and my wife in pregnant. Also the air conditioning not working. It was nightmare, but we was so tired so we didn’t say , only in morning. Also the water in the shower was warm.

The building is very close to the Brickell Metrorail station which is convenient, but that also attracts some transient folks. There was also some construction right across the street. On a good note, it is a short walk to the high end Brickell City Centre.

To pay so much for the stay at Indigo the cleanliness of the room was not great. It’s was so much build up in the shower and the drain in the shower smelled like a backed up sewer and it had the whole room smelling like feces. It was read stains on the glass shower door as if it was blood, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall with splash of liquid on the wall. You can’t see clearly out of the window because it was full of dirt and cloudy. Ready to go to bed and it was stains on the sheets that was blood. Told front desk and they brought fresh everything. When housekeeping came to clean the room they didn’t change the bed they only remade it up. Then they charged me $40 a night for parking which was $120 for a vehicle I didn’t have. I called to see why I was charged extra for a vehicle I didn’t have since I caught a plain and had uber to drop me off. Accountant said they charge everyone so valet can be paid. I said that’s stupid if I don’t have a car for them to use their services. Bull****. Tried to pay for a soda they told me I couldn’t pay at the front desk because they don’t take payment at the the desk. So they charged the room and by the time I checked out the charged increase because they said they had to charge extra for having to charge to the room even when I tried paying at the desk. I will not book here again. I feel like they just take your money
