Room was very large and clean. We had no hot water, but staff quickly provided us with another room to shower. They also comped us breakfast. Breakfast selection was small, but adequate for free breakfast. Room had a very nice bathroom. We also had a sitting room and a very large balcony.

This hotel experience was spot on. The hotel was clean, updated, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect because it was near the bay and walkable to some great coffee and breakfast places. We will definitely be back again.

Liked the location, close to a metrorail station and at walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Valet parking is very convenient. Room was perfect. The downside is that the hotel was quite busy and the personnel didn't seem to be able to cope with the volume of guests.

There was no hot water so showers were cold. Maintenance came, but did not change anything. We were offered 4 drink vouchers, which we didn’t take. There was a rat crawling around inside the dining room to which the server on duty responded with “He’s there often.” Management said they’d take care of the problem after assuring me the kitchen and dining room were pest free. I then sent them a video of the rat in the diningroom so they could see it wasn’t pest free. Also, diningroom cushions are stained and dirty. This hotel was rated 8.6, which normally I would not stay at, but it’s where my daughter had booked two rooms and was staying so I stayed hoping the low reviews were due to a lack of amenities. This was not the case. This is really a 3 star hotel at best. It’s not a 3.5 or 4 as advertised. If we were staying more than one night I would have asked for a refund so I could go somewhere more comfortable.

I think the room was nice and the location was convenient but the customer service needs improvement. They had an overall lack of urgency during check-in. I watched the guy at the counter walk back and forth on his phone and he then proceeded to help someone else ahead of me. There was an overall matter of fact attitude towards most questions

The rooms weren't clean. The floors were sticky - especially in the bathroom and so were the door handles. The shower was in need of a proper scrub. We were originally assigned a room right above the gym (#702) and were awaken at 5:30am by the noise of the dumbbells or heavy weights being thrown on the floor. I can't imagine why a hotel would even built rooms next to a gym. Request not to be in room #601(next door) or #702 (right above). We had lunch at the restaurant. Staff could barely speak English. We were also charge for a Restaurant Service Charge of 21$ ! When I asked was it was I couldn't get an answer besides that it wasn't the tip and I add to leave tip on top of that expensive bill. Front desk staff were more concerned by their cell phone than by the clients waiting in line to check-in. If the manager didn't tell them to assist the next client they would be glued to their phone. Poor management. The only positive point was the location. Few blocks from many dining options and shopping.
